63 all models BEST 1/4, 1/8

Since we are finally starting to get 63 owners to the track we need to do a better job keeping track, no pun intended. Please 55 and 65 guys do not come in the thread and say "Jeez the 63 is slow", "what on earth is wrong with the car" etc.. This is a record keeping thread only and should be updated as more 63's run the drag. Here is a summation of what we have so far. I am missing people so please respond with your best times I would like to have all the intervals of the slip! Post temp of your car, temp outside, anyother tricks and or conditions. Please post your times and every detail you have in this thread. With the exception of Derekfsu, all the drivers here are very new and most of the runs are the very first runs in the car. For most it is the first trip to a drag strip. I am sure they have all been to other strips, Good luck 63's Guys weigh your cars and post weight as well!CT= CORRECTED TIME USING SAE standard correction
To use this calculator enter the date, time, select dragstrip, ET, and trap speed. This calculator will look up the weather information for the date you entered from the closest airport to the dragstrip you select. Based on these weather conditions the calculator will calculate the density altitude and correct the timeslip to sea level.
NHRA Correction Factors - This is not a calculation but a table you can use to correct your timeslips to sea level if you run at a track where the air is thin.
So we are doing a more accurate correction that factors in the weather condition during your run!

I should correct all the times using the same standard, that will allow for equal playing feilds. Thank you for pointing it out!
For those who need explanation, here it is .
Every track has qualities that effect your time. Nature is a huge factor.
1.TEMP
2.HUMIDITY
3.Atmospheric Pressure
4.Altitude
In order to take the (weather and altitude) variable out of your times SAE has provided a correction called a DA#. Each track has a altitude correction to correct your times to absolute sea level. This does not account for the other factors listed. I have a program that takes the weather conditions at the time of your run and corrects your times based on the weather and altitude. Since we all live in different places the correction is necessary to compare the HP and runs of each car. The corrected number for Englishtown may actually raise your time! This is why I need to know your times as well as when and where. The Z06 may run 11.8's ant Englishtown but @ 3000 feet the same car runs 12.6, so you can see the problem. Is the Z06 a 12.6 second car or a 11.8? So the fastest uncorrected time for an e 63 is 12.56@114.(XABO)

sorry. LOL, just a few thousand eh? Thanks man wheres your 60ft time?

True dat!

Advantage E63 weight 175 lbs
Advantage E63 Drag Coefficient .29
So on average the E63 should run .2-.3 better and 1-2 mph on the trap?
Thats a guess and likely depends on the weight of driver although it would be unlikely a cls driver outweighs a E driver by 175 lbs. Hey any of You E63 drivers 90lbs or less?
