Oldgixxer runs 12.34@113.70 #1 quickest ET in a stock 63 11/02/2007 Island Dragway NJ.. DA was slightly negative and the run was at 7:08 PM. This is the fastest time to date in a 63. Great run and the bar has been raised .

Amirs run on 9/21 12.593@111.43 corrects to a nationwide quickest time

12.173@115.35 Da was 2800 feet at 3pm on 9/21

Ricks Run on 10/26 12.65@113.44
12.20@117.67 highest corrected trap ever in a 63( this car is modded with Renntech headers and ECU had C21 HRE and Nitto drags.

Da was 3k on 10/26 @4:15 pm

My 12.65@112.35 on 9/21
12.252@116.08
run was at 4:20 pm on Sept 21st 2007 car had 11500 miles, weight reduction and drag radials(Nitto 555R)

Greg I think your recent trap is the highest corrected stock let me check

116.53 on 10/26 Mr. Cotton went 112.33 in a DA of 2942. Greg has BFG drag radials , otherwise stock

I so badly wanna see a 63 sub 8 seconds in the 1/8th mile. I think you can do it.

I so badly need to see a 63 go 12.1-12.2@115. So fare that 12.34 simply demolishes the other times. Now we even have a stock E55 doing things BEYOND COMPREHENSION!!!

I just cannot believe the number of incredible drivers and enthisiasts we are getting here . Seems like there has been a surge in interest here, and so many folks are willing to drag a 100k car... I Love it that rather than ego battles we have such a great group here and we all strive to be the best without stepping all over eachother. Thanks to everyone who continues to help new runners and answer seemingly silly q's with respect. You folks here , have really nurtured this sport and there is growing respect for the heavy sedans..

Currently that is the 13th fastest stock time ever run in an E AMG!!

Oh wow, you're right...although traffic headin' out to e-town ain't much better...but weather is beautiful. Decisions decisions...guess I got all day to figure it out.

Edit: Ok, well I'm not gonna be chillin' with any females tonight (darn college girls with their "busy" schedules), so that means its off to the drag strip

. My buddys want to go to E-town though, so I'll most likely be there...

well no track tonite,it's "too cold to race" according to their answering machine.I had a few trix I wanted to implement tonite,and with the humidity being 30% I think I could have gone a 12.2

Fast55 is making the claim a 63 will never run in the 11's.....

and the 55 is on average better in the 1/4 mile. ok?

Rather than using his own experience he is basing it on the information on www.dragtimes.com.

So you need to race a stock 55 and do some vids to demonstrate the equality between the two AMG models

E-town was open but as it turned out, it was too cold to race. Wind was horrendous, track prep sucked. I did manage a 12.7 run with a 2.15 60' time. Wonder what my
ET would have been if I cut a 1.9.....12.2-12.3.???????

so a 63 at -1000 feet wont get down to the elevens?

In every recent heads up testing the 63 was faster than the 55. The 55 had better 60 fts and usually 1/8th mile but the 63 stayed and pulls slightly at the end..There were races in AZ , California and Maryland, where the CLS 63 bested the E63!!!

Its going to happen and you should stop making excuses , you have time to post you can come out and race. please?

There will be plenty of 55's and 63's for you to run.. Take a day off and let the 55 run

Juice, you're missing the point entirely. First of all, let me know when you find a track 1000' BELOW sea level, or -1000' conditions that allow anyone to hook up (think extra cold track). Once again, I never said a 63 can't run faster than a 55. I said NO 63 has or WILL run an 11 sec. 1/4 that is STOCK. I'll even spot you drag radials. No ECU, no headers, no gutting the car. I'm not the one making excuses. This all started because I said that on AVERAGE 63's are not quicker than 55's. I didn't even claim they were slower, just not faster. The quickest STOCK E class is a 55. Let me know when that changes.

I think a stock 63 in a low DA could hit high 11 sec, and it could happen real soon
