I'm planning to go to Famoso Raceway, was wondering if anyone else was planning on going.

I wouldnt get too excited about this track,even if its is at 635 elev.Weather conditions can be terrible there.

Famoso Race Track Conditions
Actually, weather conditions are pretty good except for temperature. There is hardly any wind, very low humidity, good traction, track is well prepped, etc.....
The only flaw is that the temperature is too high: usually between 80 and 90 F

That would be INTERSTING! I think the M5 and M6 do not like the 1/4. US cars are difficult to launch and the race too short to make up the diff. I I have never seen a NEW one at the track. I see plenty on the fwy and even there the owners seem to scoff at pressing down the pedal. Oh well , someday this race will happen!

only eighty degrees right now!!! Hum , I think I am leaving in 1 hr. I bet we could see 75 when the sun drops. That would be ok.

75 degrees at 650 feet. Better than 75 degrees at 2700 feet
