I just got the before and after Dyno runs from installing Floored Fabrications short headers. Before Dyno = 427 RWP HP After installation 461 RWP HP. I'm going to have Victors TB installed tomorrow and hope for another 25 HP hopefully getting me to 486 RWP HP. I'll probably install a pulley and Dyno the setup again. Thanks Chiromikey and Chris!!!

Nice job. What dyno was this, the numbers seem very high for a stock car?Any pics of the headers? Are they a true bolt in header or do you have to modify the down pipes and cats?

i got close to 50 RWHP on my supersprints but that was long tube and 100 cell cats.

I was just looking at the Evo headers too, but $3000 vs $1800 peaks my interest. Are the Evo headers that much better in design and quality? Does anyone know the approximate gains with Evo headers only?

The pic shows a header that looks roughly like the Renntech unit... what I meant by equal length was equal length tubes leading to the collector from each cylinder.... pretty impressive gains it sees from the nline dyno plot...
Anyone know what the size of the primiries are on the stock setup, is it 1.5"??? I think this system has 1.75" primaries??? nice... guess thats why very top end is better.
What size is evospot primaries? I would have got Evosport but they dont fit RHD car...

Nice numbers with the Supersprints, I also gained close to those numbers with the same headers.I love the sound that the Longtubes make!

Whenever I see gains like that from shorty headers, I can't help but wonder if someone isn't screwing around with the data, e.g., SAE for the base vs. uncorrected for the post-installation run. Not that I have any reason to think the gains are bogus. That is pretty amazing for shorty headers. Congrats.

Im not trying to ruin your thread here, but those gains are hard to believe for that style of header.IMO
As far as header. I would not call it as such. It is a log style manifold. A little better than stock, but not 25HP worth.

25hp? his numbers = 34RWHP gain! i could see it as 34 crank HP.

Anyone stripped the heat shields from the stock manifolds? I imagine them looking just like that.
The secret is revealed in this quote from their website.
"All inlets are 1.750", flush welded and radioused. The inlets are also oversized to allow for ported cylinder heads and it provides an anti reversion effect."
Anyone know what "radioused" is? maybe that's the trick.
I really would have to see this one to believe it's that much of an improvement. But tickled to death for you if it's true!

Its the primary diameters that give the very top end performance - although the claims sound pretty wild ... then again the stock unit is complete cr*p.
What does Renntech claim for theirs? designwise its very similar and as vadim said its not really a header but log manifold... tough to think there is that much restriction in the stock unit that this log unit can add 35+ hp... so thats 8% - a complete front to back freeflow system would do well to achieve that performance improvement.
Best bet - take it to independent dyno or the track...

These things aren't even really headers. The driver side has the front three cylinders going in at a 90 degree angle into the plenum and then the plenum enters the last cylinders tube at a 90 degree angle as well. The passenger side isn’t any better – the two inside tubes although they look slightly curved don’t have enough angle into the plenum to flow correctly. This is death to performance. As someone else noted, these aren't much different than the stock log manifolds with the heat shielding removed. I question the claimed gains.
