Anyone wanna race a C5 z06 (modded) in CO?
The Z is a b!tch to launch on street rubber and takes lots and lots of practice to master. My best run in my Z was a 12.7 @ 114 mph after mods. Granted, nearly all of my post-mod runs were in hot and humid conditions. But even with great weather, I was not going to be running 12.1's @ 117 in that car like I can consistently in the E55 with my eyes closed.
I have no doubt that if I ran the two cars side by side starting at 30 mph, the E55 would still pull.

and ran 12.4 @116 stock. Put on the Blackwing filter and x-pipe (remember the exhaust jingle) and she ran 12.1@118. I am surprised at your times. The C5 Z is much better than that.
There are some very quick ones out there. But they are black. Mine was silver.
The fast ones are electron blue

I have a 2003 C5 Z. I ran 11.8s@118+ with LG long tubes and Halltech cold air. I think my short times were in the 1.9s. This was at a notoriously slow MD track (75/80 Dragway in Monrovia, MD - now closed). It put down 388hp/375tq with those mods + tuning. Stock it made 363hp/352tq at the tires.
Unfortunately, I didn't run it much before the blower and now it's still in pieces for my twin turbo project
