Glad you got it all figured out.. I would like to get some more feedback on the burnt belt issue.. are you saying the 56" gave too much slack and was causing it to slip and burn up?
I am trying to figure out what problem your custom bracket solved... Was the Aux tensioner bracket a problem to install or did it not line up or something?
Would appreciate your feedback on this.
Improvement? Thoughts? Power increase? Buellerrrrr? Buellerrrr?

I suspect I could install everything EXCEPT the Belt Kit, DYNO and 1/4 TRACK Time, install Belt Kit and REDYNO and REVISED 1/4 TRACK Time.......
Seems like a lot of extra time and expense on my part to go through. My MB guy is going to have everything open tomorrow while he is installing.
Thoughts anyone???

Roland[/QU THE BELT KIT DOES NOT OVERLAP ANY LABOR EXCEPT FOR THE BRACKET FOR THE S/C COOLER PIPES(WHICH IS NO BIG DEAL.) I'VE DONE ALL THE SAME MODS YOU'RE DOING ON MY CAR. I ADDED THE BELT KIT AT THE SAME TIME AS THE PULLEY SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO PULL THE FAN 2X'S, STILL NOT A BIG DEAL.I'M ALSO THINKING ABOUT DOING SOME SOFTWARE UPGRADES.1/4 TRACK TIMES INTEREST ME NOT WHAT THE DYNO SAYS(EXCEPT FOR AFR'S) ON HP,I WAS HOPING TO RUN IT TONIGHT AT SEARS POINT (INFINION) RACEWAY BUT JOB OBLIGATIONS TOOK PRIORITY, SO HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK THINGS WILL WORK OUT.

We are trying for figure out about this noise coming from a pully assembly but not sure yet...
We are trying to USE belt tensioner to tighen the BELT but now sure how much BELT tension is enough ??? Is there any parameters ???
The noise is just for second like "tick-tuck" when you start to accelerate underload and then disappears...
I was thinking may be its TB opning UP

The wrapped kit assembly has been double checked and they say everything is correct and fitted like it says in intructions...

Does this SL55 to which you installed that kit had some noises as well ???
May be I need to tighten the BELT a bit more with a belt tensioner ??? and how would I know if the belt is tight enough or NOT, any parameter or ideas how to check that ???
