Hey Bro! Sorry I didn't get chance to talk to you that much. At least I got to say hello and meet you. Good to hear you got some tires for that beast. Was it you or Mig that was looking at the wall on one of the runs? I remember one of you guys getting crossed up really bad.

I dont think the width is really the problem, its the sidewall height. I used to run 275/35/18 Toyo RA1's and NEVER rubbed. I also run 275/30/19 Dunlop tires on my 19" DPE's for the street. Also never rubbed. I will try a set of 275/35/18 BFG's next. I believe they discontinued the 265/40/18 size. Also tirerack is on back order for a while on the bfg d/r's. Do you have your fenders rolled in the rear? I have the KW v.2 suspension and have the rears all the way down (oddly enough it doesnt really go that far down). I think after rolling my fenders today I should be ok. I will let you know.
Cool, let me know how that works. Fitting a 275 bfg drag radial would be pretty nice. I don't have my fenders rolled. I was told they pretty much come rolled from the factory, and that you really can't really roll them much more. How did you roll your fenders? Any idea if any of the 17" Kosei wheels would fit? Those only weigh 14lbs each.

Does someone wanna post corrected numbers for some of the fast runs? I.e. the Stephens S600 and Alberts E55 and Jasons CL600 to begin with
Jaki- Yes the front fenders are rolled from the factory but the rear are not rolled very much. I am not rubbing at the top of the wheel arch, I am rubbing more to the sides and theres plenty that can be rooled there. But your setup may be different since you have a 209 vs my 208. I used a baseball bat for now
I will probably test it today after work. I have a Brembo BBK in the front so both the 18's and 17's are out of the question in the front. My kinesis 18's BARELY clear the brakes up front. The rear may work. I guess all we have to do is call tirerack and ask. If they fit that would be SUPER light! Do they make a 17x9?

Yeah, what he said. Not race mufflers either. It has the touring exhaust because I heard that the race exhaust was way too loud and would drone at highway speeds. 150 shot is also an estimate because it is an LS1 vette nitrous kit and I used the pills for N20 and fuel that worked for that kit. It sure felt like 150hp though so I don't doubt it for a second. Very smooth with no popping, surging or audible pinging. I also used Torco 104 octane unleaded fuel that I purchased at the dragway. No secrets here that is all that I had I promise. The tires were exactly like Jason's 265/40-18 BFG drag radials.
