Awesome you found all your daddy's stuff for the ferrari!!! What's your favorite subject in school, auto shop???

P.S. I don't have a ferrari but at least none of my floors are covered in cheap linoleum.

Linkey to proofey.

You must not know bout me, you must not know bout me.....
I'm 20, I am very fortunate and I can't thank god or my family enough for the opportunities they have provided me. You can hate me for that all you want. The reason I am home is because I had back surgery and my boss told me to get out of the office as I'm popping Vicodin like M&Ms that's why i'm a little grumpy.

HAHAHA wow you are so pathetic you are going to insult my because of the floors in the wash area of the boathouse? How pathetic of you, just as I suspected you derive your self worth from money. Say what you want about me being in school, but at least I dont think I'm better than anyone based on their floor selections LOL.

Right, that's why you said this. Dude you've been caught in 2 lies today, stop it already. Your dad has cheddar, you ride his coattails, you want to be a big man on the internets, Miami and I saw right through it and you got all defensive, or as we call it all "Oxygen" on us and I smacked you down.

Be thankful he even lets you around the spare key. The Ferrari isn't around today because dad has it.

Now you are calling me a liar? Where have I been caught in a single lie? Please tell me! I really hope I run into you in Miami I would LOVE to see the result of that encounter big shot.

There Ferrari is in the garage dumbass, get a life. I've been home sick for a week that's why I'm on the internet. What's your excuse for being a grown man with nothing better to do then try and recover from getting owned by a 20 year old kid.

Your perception of your self worth is so low you feel the need to attack someone you have never met. For what? Because I made a point about a car, that most of the people on this forum will agree with?

Yeah I am, you said you're at work, which you're not, and you say you own a 599, which obviously your dad, or some other member of your family does. You're a 20 year old kid on summer vacation, stop it dude, relax. You don't have to try and impress people on the internet.

Can you even read you stupid f--k? I told you I left work! This is pathetic go home and grow up. Show me where I said "my" 599? Where did I say that? Am I the only one who drives it? Yes. Was it purchased for my use? Yes. Do I have he audacity to call it mine? No. The only people who say the 599 is mine are my parents since they bought it for ME. I however, have NEVER said it was my car on this forum. I said "when I drive THE 599" once again please learn to read

The original post was at 2:11, my reply to your pathetic attempt to call me out was at 4:53. I left work at 2:53 which I determined from my call logs on my phone. Learn to read, how can you be at work? You are quite possibly the most immature and unintelligent person I have ever encountered in person and the internet. Just admit your wrong. What was BS? My E55 which I provided photos of? The Ferrari which I showed you the key and owners manuals? Or wait is it the impossibility of leaving work? Did I say the 599 was mine? No. Show me where I have lied? You can't. You can't even construct a functional articulate argument. All you have been able to do is make false claims about nothing in pathetic attempts to denigrate me to make yourself feel better. You need serious help pal, SERIOUS help.

So had i come from a ford escort or something it would be unreal

The E55 is a smooth operator and moves like a bat out of hell for what it is, a full size luxo sedan, but it is not apples to apples to compare it to a turbo Porshe or ferrari.

While i absolutely love my E55, I also agree wit hthe transmission issues he stated. The shifting is slow and IMO the manual shift is pointless as all you do is seand a message to the comp that says shift, evidently is processes the info and then shifts....there is no instant shift. I noticed this on my old benz as well that was an 06' C280 7-speed.

This car is so awesome though I could care less about those details.
Exactly my point. Whether or not ttgangsta has a 599 is no issue to me. What I am wondering is whether the E55 I just drove was running poorly or if the transmissions in all of them are laggy.

And to answer a question posted above, the dealership didn't let me run the car like my neighbor did, as I'm sure you could imagine.

Hate to tell ya that they are all like that. It simply is not the same as SMG. If you like SMG or being manual with timing, then the AMGs are not for you.

John

My E55 snaps off pretty quick upshifts and downshifts at part throttle, but WOT shifts are a bit slow - almost like the ECU is protecting the tranny. I think that my driving style (3rd set of rear tires in 23k miles ) probably contributes to the adaptive tranny doing what I ask of it

Like Jangy, I use the shift paddles if I'm cruising some twisties and want the tranny to stay in a gear or I want to manually downshift for a corner. I also like manual mode on the highway, avoiding a downshift when accelerating around slower traffic to let the big swell of low end tq in 5th accelerate the car smoothly and quietly.

Otherwise, the shift paddles/buttons are useless.

As far as the car feeling fast - it's quiet and torquey. It has power everywhere on the tach and will destroy most stock cars from a dig. Depending on where you hit it from a roll, the gearing can work against you and put you in a gear that's too high for max acceleration - maybe that's what happened during your test drive?

da gansta don't know how we roll in here. With all due respect to 6-speed, this room is ABSOLUTELY the no BS room. It's kinda like when you hang out with your pops at the yatch club. You don't notice all the gentlemen sitting about boasting without a clue. They tell of their real experiences and thoughts or they keep their mouth shut.

The reason the newb got called out is simply because the **** didn't smell right. It has nothing to do with his worth or whatever. There are people in here in all income ranges and we have all the respect for one another.

By the way, you never actually proved the E55 to be yours, either and yet you claim it. Sure that ain't mom's car?

Some people go into the office for a while when they are sick. I really don't feel like I should have to explain that. I have been home sick for a week, what do you want now, for me to take pictures of the papers from the Cleveland clinic? I go to the office for a few hours and leave, have you never done that? How have I lied in any way? What reason do you have to call me a liar or even to suggest that I am?

All I did was respond to a question posted by another member. At that point two people who have never met me accused me of lying. I responded with proof that I indeed drive/own both of the vehicles I mentioned in my original post.

One poster then decided to argue about the semantics of my post by once again making false allegations and then proceeded to launch a pathetic campaign to prevent acknowledging that he was wrong. I'm sorry my work schedule isn't clear enough for you, I made a mistake in not making it crystal clear so that all of the "troubled" people in the MBWorld police could understand. I will look you in the eye and swear with one hand on the bible that the things I have said in this thread are 100% accurate and to the best of my ability in no way shape or form meant to portray myself in an untruthful way.

So far Cylinder Head has told me I am a liar, insulted my fathers choice for flooring, misquoted me, made petty attempts to insult me because of the date with which I was born and so on.

Yes I am sure, my mother drives an E320 (parents divorced). Scott backed me up, you really think he would come in here and sacrifice integrity to further my internet wet dream of impressing you? Does it even matter really if it's mine or not? Is that really going to change the factuality of my answer? The car IS mine, I don't know how to prove that to you. My father and I have identical names so even if I got out the title it would mean nothing. Do I really strike you as the type of person yearning to impress my e-friends? The 599 was purchased for me, the E55 was as well. Do you see me bragging about them in my signature? Or how about any of the other cars I have at my disposal? No, you won't find any of them listed because they mean NOTHING they are toys that is it. The only person who is trying to equate wealth with character is Cylinder Head. I really don't care if none of you believe me, the only reason I even posted the pictures is because I'm sick and tired of arrogant *****s policing the internet out what appears to be shear jealousy. I tried to respond to a post with my honest opinion based on my experience in both the 599 and the E55. I don't feel like I was bragging or misrepresenting my use/ownership of these cars as I really don't think it matters. The simple fact of the matter is I have a opinion based on actual experience in those cars and I tried to respectfully share at which point I was called a liar. How would you like it I told you you were a liar? Personally when people insult my integrity I take it very personally, especially when under the influence of prescription narcotics lol.

That sound fair?

On another note: I do understand the concept of me having a E55 and 599 raises red flags, but honestly what difference does it make. When we go to the yacht clubs people are always spewing out mindless BS, but I was taught to let it go rather than insult people for no reason. Why not let the fools go on their merry way living in denial, who am I to tell them how to live their life? Honestly if someone feels the need to makeup assets to impress people, I feel like they have enough problems without me calling them a liar.

You mentioned respect in this forum, but I was not given any of the respect you mention. I was treated like a liar ad without any reason. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior and honestly if anything that type of posting makes MBworld look like a complete joke. I could go post this thread on F-chat or 6speed and I can pretty much promise you the replies would not be positive towards this forum. Do think I really wanted to start a war? I just tried to answer the guys question the way I hope my questions would be answered.

I am with Wayne on this one, Wot shifts are much more modulated to protect the transmission, but not even that keeps the yellow triangle off. Mine long blinks on first to second and flickering second to third. This makes it hard for a person to tell when the shift is complete. Hence seems to take a long time.

I never said the car wasn't fast!!!! The car is a relatively large Mercedes luxury vehicle with a soft suspension and a quiet exhaust and a smooth transmission it simply doesn't "feel" fast to me. I mean common, I LOVE my E55 that's why I bought it.

never mind jangy. saw your other post.

Here is my real world contribution. Careful of those vicodens. I just had lung surgery, and was taking norcos (vicoden + tylenol) for pain. After just 8 days, I was having withdrawal symptoms when I stopped taking them. Best ween yourself off those things over time. **** is uncomfortable
