It is actually dark black, but unfortunately when we took the pictures, we didn't realize the sun was directly hitting the interior and messed-up our shot.

Have you ever seen an E63 030/P30 with the flat side AMG steering wheel? Like the Black series wheel.

No, all the ones I've seen have the same steering wheel as mine. I think there are couple of members that did a conversion though. Both steering wheels look awsome

I like the way you painted those Style VI wheels. How is the paint job holding up?
Any idea how much the rims weigh? Lighter or heavier than the one piece? And does anyone kinow if they are available on the aftermarket?

Thanks... The paint is holding up pretty good so far. I don't know about the weight of these rims, but I'm planning on weighting them at my next tire change. I saw a set of identical rims on e-bay being sold for $3k (seemed authentic).

The 07 P30 came with Alacantra on both sides of the steering wheel making it a bit thicker on those sides. The 08 and 09 P30 came with flat-bottom (black series) style steering wheel.

'94 NSX,'99 NSX Z,'12 C63 Black Series (Prior: '07 E63, '08 CLK63 Black Series,'14 E63-S & 16 C63-S)
btw, i just read up on the 030:
· 14.1" DTM-style AMG sports steering wheel
· Aluminum shift paddles
· Top track speed to 186 mph (Electronically limited. Obey speed laws.)
· Staggered-width 18-inch two-piece AMG 5-spoke wheels
· AMG track-calibrated Airmatic suspension system
· Limited-slip differential
all of these should be STD equipment on the E63!!

There is a part number for the LSD (I checked with my dealer a while back) and you can get a tuner to remove the limiter (the dealer won't do it for you; maybe a smart Indy.) Also you could get the wheel (with airbag), that's an OEM part number, too. Not sure about the airmatic but I'm assuming it's the valving in the struts that allow for more stiffness. Again there's a part number (plus maybe an SDS re-coding, too.)
But bottom line is that it'll cost way more than it's worth, imho. If you consider it was almost a $10k option, just imagine the after factory costs.
Better to do it yourself aftermarket (Quaife LSD, etc.), imho.
