battle of heavyweights.....Protomotive 700 996 GT2 vs Supercharged C6 Vette
couple of Goliaths going at it.
Specs on the 996 GT2 are:
Protomotive 700 Power Package
made 625-630 rwhp on AWE's Mustang Dyno
The Supercharged Vette I don't know much about, other than it made 650 to the wheels and ran 10.7@133-134 MPH in the 1/4.....
Camera car is a AMG_Rider's 600+ HP Kleeman Stage 3+ E55 AMG
Notice in the last run both the GT2 and Vette pass us like nothing as we're doing 130 MPH =D
Sorry for the not so great footage, but some film is better than none...imo 8^P

there is no point of racing that GT2... it lives in its own world~lol
so, the guy asked to run him for fun couple weeks ago...
and here's what i exactly told him..."No thanks~" lol

I am curious to see a video on your Kleemann E55 vs the Proto GT2.
I am hoping to run RudyRono's Renntech Stage 5 as soon as it cools down a bit. I swear that my TT is faster than my stage 3 E55. We'll see when I run Rudy.

Yes, that's me. I'm getting my parts installed at Broadway. John is a great guy. Cylinder Head introduced me to John, after he turned Sky's supra around. I also ordered a few other goodies....
Probably bring the car towards the end of next week. Want to get a baseline dyno first.

Damn, the one week I'm away on vacation this happens! I've seen that GT2 before...its my fav out of all the Thurs night cars. Badass to the core.
I will DEFINITELY be at this upcoming Thurs, I wouldn't miss a chance to see that GT2 in action for the world. For those cars to pass Joon like that...damn, they're fast. I envy the fun that you guys had...but then again, I had some mischievious fun of my own down in the Bahamas

Dragon, sorry to be OT but have you written up a post about your 996TT yet? I'd love to read about the differences between that and your old E55 Kleeman as well as to hear about the new mods and your oppinion on them as well as the transformation process your car is undergoing. And Carl, I'd love to see your beast. Have you met the dude with the extremely fast Talon who has a cane and walks with a limp? I've heard numerous accounts of him destroying 10 second cars. Hope to see you there (with one of your cars at least lol). You could always bring one of the E36's if you'd like...
