Atco Rental 12/4 or 12/5
Figure it will be about $150 per car for 15 cars. Who's in?
EDIT - And let me know if one date is better than the other.

I am going to put together a list. Once I get 15 guys to commit, I will sign on the dotted line and leave a deposit for the track.
Next month, I will ask for checks from the attendees. I will hold the checks until the event, just in case the event can't go forward because of the weather. If that happens, I will just return the checks.
I started a thread on M5Board and have invited some friends from the Vette boards (who always remember to invite me when they set up a rental), so act quickly.
The manager has my name and number and hopefully will call me if something opens up in the interim. But I think I am going to book one of the December dates and dress warmly. All I have to lose is a $250 deposit.

It is about 1.5 hours from the GW Bridge at a "relaxed" pace - 75 mph. It is a nice ride down the turnpike. Pretend that you are driving down the Jersey Shore.

Edit: Ok, I just looked it up on mapquest.

It doesn't look like toooo bad of a drive. I see its pretty close to AC

.... This will be first pass for me, on my 05'. Unless I go before then, which I doubt.. Let the games begin..
50 is usually a good number, but Atco really does a great job prepping the track. If your shoes are loose, they'll get stuck to the track. If it were e-town on a Friday night, where they do not prep, I wouldn't even bother going.
The real concern should be beyond the 1/8th. So you'd make a few practice runs to test the traction at the far end and let the blacktop get some heat.
I am getting some more favorable responses, so it looks like I am going to put my credit card down for the 5th.

I'll let you know.
Update - They are not going to be *****s. As long as you are not running 10's, it won't matter.

At that point, we will know who is really "in".
It should be fun!
