Good job !!

that looks very similar to what is going on here.. 12.61 is my best and the best 63 run we had on 9/21 was 12.59 @112. So now we need 60 degrees and low humidity :-D

Great job on the 60.

1 run?

Man I cannot wait to hit 12.5...its coming 10/26 hopefully. what was your engine oil temp, and have you noticed any improvement in shift points.

Thanks

Congrats Chris!!!! What was your second time? Did you figure out your MPH? Mines were too low bro!! Many people saying it's the humidity, don't know, it was nearly high 80's. I will upload my videos later and the slips as well. Keep up the good work!!!

I got there late so they only guaranteed one run. I actually got a second run but the print-out was messed up.

Hey Jody, Print-out of second run was messed up..don't know. As far as the low mph..don't know either. I trapped consistantly in the 114 mph range in the dry summer months but the temps were always 75+ degrees. There was no question high humidity last night. Report said roughly 80%. Never thought I would trap higher in the heat!!

Engine oil temp was 102. Shift points were much better.
1-2, 2-3 shifts were stong. 3-4 still a little weak. You won't believe this but I have been draggin' for 15+ years and made a rookie mistake....let up on the gas pedal before the 1,320 mark.

Agree Adam..wanted to run the entire season stock to get a baseline. I still believe there is room for improvement. If I tinker with the tire pressure , I am sure I can get a 1.85 with the stock Conti's. In stock form I believe my 63 is 12.2-12.4 sec car with the right hookup.
I would like my next move to be removing the charcoal filters and placing some hi-performance filter in(K&N etc)
when it becomes available. Also an ECU tune. My car has run different after each service software update. I believe there is tremendous potential in just a computer re-program with the 63..more so than the 55. MB just has not perfected it yet (hence the 3 updates I have received so far). Let me know what you can offer.
