November 10th 9am-4pm.

Link: US 41 DRAGWAY

We have the track privately from 9-11am, then our own lane until 4pm.

I would be surprised if 30 other cars turn out. Call it a semi-private day.

Total costs should be in the $50/car range, payable day of racing.

I will bring drinks and be grilling burgers/dogs, so all you need to do is SHOW UP WITH YOUR CAR !!!

SATURDAY 10 NOVEMBER
US 41 DRAGWAY
2695 W. 50 S
MOROCCO, INDIANA
47963

For track info, call Denny @ 219-808-9474. For caravan or other info, PM me.

Hmmm...dragstrip with fellow AMG enthusiasts or celebrate my 12th anniversary with a long weekend in Traverse City, MI... (hangs head, hands in pockets and kicks dirt) guess you all know where I'll be going. Have fun. More pics and vids please!

Ok, just wanted to confirm I65 was the fastest way down thanks for the info. If I can scare up the parts, I'd like to do some live testing of the factory airbox vs. a tube type straight intake at the track. Hope the weather holds up

What does Traverse City have that Morocco, IN doesn't?

Besides people, buildings, and vehicles that aren't pulled by oxen, that is...

[QUOTE=ChicagoX;2465617]What does Traverse City have that Morocco, IN doesn't?

A view (www.chateauchantal.com) and a wine trail(www.lpwines.com). It's not Nappa, but it still does the job.

Not to hijack the thread, but this past weekend I got to run with BTPower at US 131 Raceway park by Kalamazoo. The weather was perfect! He has an '05 M5 with exhaust and throttle body. He was cutting consistent times of 11.9 to 12.00. I was doing well and ran my best time yet... a 12.23 stock with ps2's. We did two passes side by side. I took the first run by nailing the tree. He took the second by .07 something. A much closer tree. I was able to get some vids and will start a new thread and post there...stay tuned.

Between the MB cars and the "others" we should be around a dozen.
