Hi ..

Me and my friend have a Euro command on E500 & E63, we try to unlock the video in motion while press and hold mute + Hung up phone & service same time, but we are unable to get the menu that said welcome to engineer menu.

Can any one advise in regarding this, Dose any one face the same problem.

Try 5-3-7 (ctrl-alt-del style).

Thanks NGS_E55, but am still didnt understand the releation between 5 3 7 as ctrl alt delt style....

Do you mean i shoudl hold 5 then 3 then 7 and keep holding or hold 5 then 3 then just click 7 while keep holding the 5 and 3????

correct, 5+3+7 ('+'=.05sec pause) all together for a total of about 4 seconds.

That is not the code to enter the engineer menu, its just to choose appearing AMG or mercedes Benz Tage on start up...

I am looking to enter the engineer menu where i can enter then the secret menu...

Here are some photos I took - see if they help.

1. my COMAND - 2003 w211 E55 - Australian (?=Euro)
2. Engineer mode after - mute-end call- SERV
3. Software version in Engineers menu (mine had been update by the dealer to enable mp3 and during the ? SBC recall)
4. next screen AFTER # - * - <. Note new soft key menu down right side of screen.
