Car looks great but the performance #s looked wacked -- the MPH of 149.1. WTF..maybe 119.1.

I bet a downpipe, boost controller, air intake, and FMIC this thing will be putting down 600rwhp. This will be the new Supra.

http://www.thetorquereport.com/2007/...led_on_th.html

Mizuno's numbers are impressive: 3.5 seconds to 60 mph (in 110-degree weather, no less), 11.7 seconds to the quarter mile at a t rap speed of 149.1 mph. He says the GT-R will tear up the skidpad to the tune of 0.99 g -- even on 20-inch run flats -- and stop from 60 mph in only 111.5 feet. Top speed is targeted at 192.6 mph, though it will be governed to 186 mph. Notable, however, iss that while these stats beat his 911 Turbo numbers and those recorded by other magazines, they don't beat ours.

Motortrend tested the 997 turbo at 3.2s 0-60 and 1/4 mile at 11.4s with a 120.1mph trap speed. So I think its fair to assume that 119.1mph was the intended figure for the GTR. The "1" and "4" buttons are quite close to each other on the keypad after all

119 .. I agree with that

but let's hope the AWD does not "zapp" too much power.

Nissan's drivetrain is not very efficient as compared to the P-car.

After eagerly anticipating this car for 2 years, I cancelled my order this week. Why? DST only. I don't care how superior the DST is to traditional manual gearboxes, I am not interested in tapping paddles all day. I can do that with my E55.

Do you know what dealers are taking orders? I have a deposit down on the waiting list but as far as I know (and I know a lot about this car), US dealers are not taking orders.

And yes Marcus, the GT-R will be a dual clutch sequential only. No stick shift.

Also, the drivetrain is supposed to be highly efficient.

It should be around $70k base, but with options (black edition, premium edition) it will be closer to $80k fully loaded.

Those are just packages...sound system, different interior, different rims, summer or winter tires, etc. Its the same exact car though, base, black, or premium editions. Just trim and junk.

It is supposed to reach Europe around Summer/Fall of '08, it reaches the US in June of '08, Japan gets it this December. You'll probably have to talk to one of your dealers, or if you can't wait you could maybe get it imported straight from Japan, but at that point the importation price and all might creep up as high as a new 997TT. It's worth checking it out though.

And Reaxion...this car is all wheel drive...LOL

There is no official info on the V-spec. Edmunds claims it will be about 200lbs lighter (probably rear seat removal, lightweight seats, more carbon fiber, more track ready suspension, possibly more hp). I would say that going by my common sense, we will see one unveiled next October. I want to get the normal GT-R though because I need backseats and I gotta keep it luxurious for the ladies lol.

It ran that lap time at the Nurburgring on CUT SLICKS. Im willing to bet these 0-60 and 1/4 times were on some sort of slicks too.

OK..thanks...The car are much cheaper in US...so I might get one from US or Canada...so my dealer know nothing about it...I need the rear saet also for my kids...

When will the dealers have all the specs, options and prices ???

If I order one from your dealer I will get it next summer ???
