squirming rear end ?

Minds out of the gutter please.

I've noticed this before and again this a.m., but is it normal to feel the rear end squirm on hard acceleration, this in third gear at the sweet spot in rpm range ?

Are there suspension components that wear, like bushings, that should be checked

Any larger rims etc on the back. Had some guys not noticing the tires rubbing on the fender wellls until they popped off the tires and looked inside. They reported lots of wiggle before the discovery.

Worth a pop underneath with a flashlight.

stock everythin. I'll ask the dealer to look at the rear suspension component, I think I remember hearing that they can get worn (whatever "they" are)

Here's a nice example of rubbing damage as Jakpro mentioned from running 295/19 Pilot Sport 2's. I had major problems with the "wiggle" under WOT.
Obviously this isn't your problem if you are stock.

The rear toe-links are pretty flimsy, and I don't mean just the bushings, but the bars themselves!! Renntech makes a kit that replaces them, but they're on crack for what they want for them. HP Autowerks in Santa Barbara makes some as well that are definately more race-oriented. I've got them on my car and they kick butt.
