Thanks!
They are here whenever you are ready!
Without doing a test on one, I can't say with 100% certainty.. I would guess that they would fit no problem since there is no interference with steering rack or anything else.. these are the same profile as the stock manifolds.
Hey.. we are a tight-nit group.. what can I say...

Here's one more look at them as they are getting their final welds done.. Second set is being made to test the accuracy of the fixtures.
The VR700 car with this setup will be going to California in the next few weeks and then the dyno testing and tuning begins.

It's not so much equal length as it is "Tuned Pulse".. Based on the firing order and the engine characteristics the tubes are shaped in a certain way so that the pulses enter the collector in a certain order. Merge collector sizing is a science in itself.. Power can be made or lost there so you really have to know what you are doing to make a header work.
Chris is very good at this and that is why he is doing VRP's fab work on alot of projects.

Hey Victor, since these Big Boys are being made on an E55 in Houston, how will we get these made to fit Havoc's SL in Cali if no Houstonian with an SL wants to step up?

I'm in Dallas. I've wanted a set of the long tubes, but fitmet has been a question. I'm tempted to just get the HEMs.

Hey, no worries, if you're going for less hp, then the HEMs will work just fine.
I was just wondering what was Victor's game plan.

Here is what the finished product looks like... They look similar to the first version, but these have a bigger collector and use 3" pipe all the way back.
These also make use of V-Band connectors for easier on-off adjustments.

With all the cars you guys are getting now, it would be nice to see some dynos of this new header build on a stock car.
Also what type of metal is it (grade 300 what?)
Also will it be ceramic coated?
how many cats?

Thanks bud!! Yours will be just as beautiful! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Unfortunately no. We've had a car that had the longtubes and the ASP pulley installed at the same time and it jumped 90rwhp.. We know the ASP alone is worth 40-45rwhp, so we can deduce that the headers accounted for the remainder of the gains.
The longtube header package is $4,200. It comes with everything needed to install them.

I put a hold on it because I was waiting for the results and final design of the header setup so I knew which configuration of muffler inlet and outlet was required.
As soon as we get testing and numbers out of the way for the exhaust I will get the mufflers done.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
