Our stepped headers are now in production.. We've got a VR700++ car at the fabricator's shop that is having the headers installed.
In addition to the stepped header, we area also creating a full exhaust all the way back and making our own muffler setup with custom tips.
I'll post some progress pics of the project as we move along.

A new set of shorties are in production.. First set is going on Jangy's car and a VR600 tune will be created for it... This will be the next upgrade up from the VR550 that we will offer.
The complete package will be:
- VRP Pulley
- VRP Shorty headers
- VRP 80mm TB kit
- VRP phenolic spacers
- VRP VR600 tune

We have 2 people lined up to do install & dynos.. Vadim is coordinating with both owners..
Unfortunately, I dont know anyone in NYC but if you guys want a set, I can ship a couple to the shop of your choice. I cant do the $1250 installed price because that is basically my cost...

Did you try it on the w210 E55? And since I am in Southern Cali is it going to be Smogable? What was the results from the dyno for W210 E55(1999)?

Just wanted to post an update on the build of the new stepped headers we are putting on one of the VR700 cars in Houston. It is 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" stepped.
We have made some changes to the design.. All of the exhaust components will now have V-Band clamps for the joints.
These things look monstrous compared to the other set. I am hoping this will free up some more power on the motor. There will be a complete 3" back exhaust going on this as well.
I'll post more pics as we progress through the build.

That's what I'm hoping.. We proved we needed to go bigger with JakPro's car on the dyno... These should alleviate any exhaust restrictions.. We'll see what this other car dynos compared to Jim's and then we'll know where we stand.

Man.. They really do look like monsters down there... I didnt think the pipe size would make that much of a visual difference but it really does look alot bigger.

The mufflers account for 90% of the muffling... I am not sure if we are going to ditch them yet or not.. we will test first with stock mufflers and see what happens..
