so.. i had a little mishap tonight. Pics of the carnage inside.

Let's omit the details please, pics speak for themselves. Noone else was involved.
I'm so so so so mad at myself.

here are the pics...

went from this..

To this: :nono2: :nono2:

So, how much will this cost me?
Where should i take it? to a benz dealership, or find a great reputable private body shop?
So so so many questions....

I would imagine that any high-end reputable body shop would still cost less than the stealerships
Just my .02 cents

My advice: Get it fixed asap. Sorry to hear on such an awesome car. Looks like an easy fix w/o any bondo. Will never know it was hit.

No worries....looks very minor. Get a reputable bodyshop to give you a quote. Almost looks like you could buff it out yourself. Should be fine though, could have been worse!

Exclamation Dealers use body shops!

dealers use reputable body shops but they mark up the price I think, secondly a hit like that is definately not a bad one, but the painting is gonna require you to blend into the door, so the right side bumper will get painted and the rest of it will get cleared, the entire fender and some of the door will have to get sprayed in order to blend it correctly. My two cents! Should cost no more then $1200.

Bay Area, as painful as that nastiness looks .... it just doesn't qualify as carnage.

thanks guys!
I feel much better.
Local guys, do you have any body shop recommendations?

I'm thinking about upgrading the bumper to an E63, but haven't really looked into everything that's involved.

Any links out there with all the parts needed for the swap and prices?
thanks.

He been trying to come back for some time and we him dowm.
He should man up and say he before the stamp.
He keeps hitting the every time he comes back to the forum.

He's gotta earn his trust back
Looks like he wants to stay and he needs to do that or every time he pops up

To the OP, if you are in San Francisco Bay Area, then I'd suggest
Eurotech Collision in San Carlos.
Eurotech

You could also ask the service folks at Silicon Valley Auto Group to send it
out for repair. I don't know who their body shop affiliate is.
SiliconValleyAuto

I've been a customer of both and been satisfied. Hope your insurance can
help.

you think im posting to make computer buddies, LOL, secondly that E55 would crush half the cars on here off the bottle! Bring it! I'm from Queens I can scoop the car up and meet whoever wants to give it a go! It has alot of squeeze I'll tell you that now.
