Update on Kris Keeney's daughter battling Leukemia
I'm sitting in a hospital with my 15 yr old daughter; we just learned she has leukemia; she is a huge fan of the Beast; she's been my advocate when defending my car-needs to my wife. Anyway, I might bring my girl to the 11/12 track run for fun and she and I are enjoying talking cars while in the hospital. She claims I am obsessive/compulsive about my car. Yea, and.....so what?
Jim: thanks so much for touching base; the MB World fellas have been so kind; it has been a great surprise to hear such sincere concern from folks I've not even met.
My Molly is hanging tough; she is losing her hair, which freaks her out, as it would any 15 yr old. She, mom, and I are in Baltimore today; my wife found a place that specializes in making wigs for young people with cancer; this is the reason I couldn't make the AMG drag racing today with some of the other atlantic region fellas;
One day at a time, is the way I am trying to deal with this. Much to be grateful for; gratitude is key.
And I am grateful for the E55; nice solid diversion
Thanks again for your, and the fellas', concern and good thoughts. Please pass this along to the gang, and everyone drive safely.
Kris R. Keeney,

Sometimes we may get carried away with the material things in life and go blind to some of the most important beings in our lives...children.
My prayers will go out to his little girl and his family. God will give them strenght.

I can't imagine what he and his family (especially Molly) are going through. I have two little girls, and just seeing them with the sniffles upsets me.
I really do hope and pray that Molly beats this. With all the advancements in science and technology, her chances are better than ever.
My prayers are with the Keeney family.

E63,,,not any more,,,BMW X5 50i
I guess you can say I am a newbe on the board here...and living in Tennessee I very rarely have a chance to meet any of you guys, let alone share "kills" in person. I have an E63, which might not be the original "beast", but it sure is to me. Anyway, no matter....when it comes to something like this in a persons life, we are all brothers.....Kris, I will say a prayer for your daughter and for your family in hopes that everything comes out ok......its a small token, but something I can do!!

Kris,I'm adding my prayers to the many others here and those not mentioned.
I'm sure your daughter will be a source of pride and amazement to you with the courage that she shows during this nightmare.
