Next year I want to fill my "something different" and/or convertible jones...
There all different cars with varied performance specs, but they all hit a switch in me for different reasons...which one? Someone be rational for me...it'll be the stablemate to the E55.
Civilized Turbo madness...it'll be a 2007 MY.
An Aston, the droptop, the exhaust...It'll be a 2008 MY.
Over the top torque, the convertible...It'll be a 2006/2007 MY.
Just F...ing gorgeous...a 2008 MY.
Driving on the edge...a 2008 MY.

You've already got a fast, comfortable car so the 65 is out. The AMV8 is too slow, the Maserati will likely break down. In the Turbo, people may think you have a tiptronic....
So it's the GT3 all the way. In white.

i can't tell you enough to stay away from the Aston Martin. My dad almost got one. Yes its sexy, yes it sounds good but 1) the resale value SUCKS, therefore payments are not desirable. they wanted 10% down and it was 3k a month for the V8 vantage!!! after a 3 year lease the car would be worth about 60k according to AM. Its an amazing car but i dont think worth the money. Unless you wanna buy it and hold on to it then you should be better off. However, id take a GT3 or a turbo

Aston sucks
My friend has had 2 in his collection, I have driven both vanquish s and db9 - they break down alot, his did and other people he talked to had the same problems, they arn't that fast, they are just cool and unqiue, my friend didn't really care after having problems with the first because he had 2 ferraris and such, so he said he didn't mind burning the money... but unless you have a fleet, don't touch the damn thing, it sucks. As far as the other cars, the 911 is going to do it to it, its a sure thing and it has AWD (killer) but that maseratti... how that car is SEX! GT3 I just don't think is as cool as it seams, looks great. SL65... I donno, I am just pissed that the saudi prince that lives around here beat my *** with his - LOL

Either of them.
Maserati Slower than your car.
AM Vantage. Too slow your E55 is faster.
SL65 unless you really want the droptop.
If you still are going to drive the E55 most of the time GT3 if its 50/50 get the turbo. My only problem with the GT3 is its slower than your car. Also if you don't have a lot of windy roads to play on ... why get the GT3?

Are you willing to consider the best bang for the buck?
Then a Corvette Z06. If you want a convertible, go with the C6 Z51. Still 436hp.
If you're looking for snob appeal, then no, they're not the right choice. If you're looking for an amazing driving experience, then look no farther.
My 08 C6 convertible sits in the garage next to my E55. They're happy garage mates.

I vote for the 997TT. I looked at the TT quite a bit before pulling the trigger on the E63. The all-wheel drive is just awesome, and if you get some after-market rims on a TT it will look stunning.
Covertibles are nice (I had SLK55 for 2 years), but after awhile they get kind of boring and played out.

Well...squeezed it down to two after thinking over the comments. First, my primary concern isn't total speed...got that and then some with the E55. I'm looking at the Maserati and the TT.
The new Maserati is supposed to be better built (?)...we'll see next year. It is so easy on the eyes, though.
The TT was my dream car back in the late 80's...I had the honor of driving around in a 85 911 Carrera back in college and I would always dream of the TURBO...the new one is just wicked. One of my doctor acquaintances has one and it was just controlled fury when I road in it. Plus, I like the idea of driving a stick again.
The Corvette Z06 and even the Viper were a consideration but I they justed didn't "flip the switch" for me. I love and respect the performance, but I'm not jonesing them like the ones above.

out of those choices i would vote for the gt3. awesome car, raw, love the looks, the ride, etc, you know the deal.
also i dont think the AM is really that bad although i think you would be disappointed in its power.
my cuz - whos a member on here, fazooley, went from an m6 to a vantage as his daily driver. we both noted the huge difference in performance (knew that going into the switch) but ultimately that ***** dont matter cause hes got the 430 spyder for fun hahaha. but seriously the interior, the stitching, the wood, the nameplate on the door sill, stock exhaust note, the lines are all very nice and you really dont see them on the road at least here in ny. oh yea the clutch is a little strange and takes some getting used to.
maybe he can chime in and give you some thoughts from someone with alot of seat time rather than what fans on the sidelines are saying
james bond style plate
old exterior pics, recently had the rims powdercoated gun metal and all the chrome trim/grilles powdercoated to match
way2evils slammin e63
interior shot on the move, need an updated pic, faz switched the middle panel around the nav screen to that bowling alley lane colored wood, looks fresh!
stock old interior, recently updated to the bentley mulliner diamond style quilted interior, all custom
clearance in nyc with an AM daily driver hahahahaha
fun time
a neighbors new cl63

‘11 SLS, ‘19 GT63 s Edition One
Drive the GT3
Drive the GT3, the sound the feel.....Mmmmm
If you weren't keeping the E55 I would say the SL
Maser looks cool but underpowered.
Aston looks cool but underpowered, and breaks down alot.
How about M6 cab or coupe?
Or CLK Black?

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
Gran Turismo drives great and has even better styling, of course either P-Car is a wise and reasonable choice, one of those three my friend (Maybe Turbo Cab?)........ agree w others about Vantage resale, and would opt out of SL series......
Nice pics Brooklyn Benz!!
