DON'T LAUGH...I lost my car key inside...
INSIDE MY CAR!
I have key-less go and upon driving aggressively, my key flew out of my ash tray and has disappeared inside my car. I have looked everyone and can't find it. Has this happened to anyone?
I know it's inside the car because I can still start her up without a key in sight!
Wow, pretty embarrassing.

I've been freaked out a couple of times where we'd be leaving the house, and the wife would forget something. So she would take the key to go back inside through the front door, but would then run out the garage which is unlocked.
Then we get to the destination, shut the car off and then we think.....who has the keys? Luckily she had them, but if anyone was going to leave the keys on the counter while the car was running....it would be her.
I think it would be nice if the car had a message when the key was out of range or something

Could be worse...I lost my sole keyless go key inside the car and accidentally locked the car manually, which isn't supposed to be possible. $110 unlock service call.

Check your right pockets ... assuming you have a loose jacket or something???
I'll still bet its under / around the chair runner rails / seat belt tensioners tho ...

Yea, we tested this... At a gas station, I gave my friend my key in another car and I was still able to get my car to the next destination.... But once you shut it off.... you stuck if you dont have a key....

It's funny how you guys are talking about removing the key and continuing to drive to your next destination.
A while back, I dropped my car off for service and left the car running and still had the key in my pocket. They proceeded to drive off and I then left a few minutes afterwards. 1 hour later, they call me up because they didn't have the key![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
won't make that mistake twice
