What about all the people that have to drive long commutes?

And the article states that 95% of californians voted against it, but Arnold is for it, so they're moving forward with it

Stupid crazy....

So if you have 20mpg car and the gas price is $4.00/gallon (or $3.82 pre-tax per gallon)... this change would make:

Tax on 1 gallon = 20 miles = 20 x 25c = $5.

So it means, we will pay $8.82 per gallon

I'm gonna ride a bicyle if this goes through....

Arnold is an absolute idiot and his policies make follow; this one included. Recently salaries of the Governor's staff were published--- 30% salary increases were commonplace. The salaries of California workers, sorry for my error California employees, since few of them actually work are increaseing at alarming rates. All of this goes on under his fake suntanned nose/prematurely orange hair and it does not seem to phase him. His platform was initially to cut the outrageous state spending but he has developed amnesia in that regard.

Sorry for the rant but living so close to this band of bufoons makes it hard to ignore what goes on in the Socialistic Republic of California. This is the last business I will ever open here.

i've never regretted leaving. it was the national model for socialism when i left and is far worse now. hopefully the revolution will begin sooner rather than later because this kind of crap will only get worse until it's too late.
