Wasn't that with drag radials however?

Yeah Juicee's runs were, but not mine. Mine were on 100% stock continental tires that comes with the car

It is called Performance Box by RaceLogic. If you live in an areas with a lot of trees or tall buildings, you will need an additional antenna. But it is worth every penny. It makes the car fun to drive because everytime I pull up to an empty street, I start my testing

There is more info on the device above in the thread.......

I really hope so........... I'm very excited and nervous

If I get anything 12.3 or lower, I'll be very happy (assuming DA is zero).

If DA ever gets to -1800 ft, then maybe I'll see a 11.98 run

And you should be able to run at least 11.3 there

I just think the lsd might give you a few thousands in the sixty foot times. But not much more than that.

Sad, that was such a PERFECT run but it weas at 4k DA, had I not been next to a car I have seen run I never would have believed the 1.699. My next best is 1.83....The 1.69 was on our favorite tires which I have equipped for SAC , Michelin Cups....not a real Drag radial but an r comp non the less..

Robert come up to SAC and help us achieve that sub 12 pass...

I garauntee you, your car will hit 11.30s in low temp, low DA conditions.

You ran 11.7 at 2400 DA, which corrects to 11.4 at zero DA and will drop down to 11.3 or lower if DA is -800 ft (provided you can control that power of course which you have been doing well lately ).

Nice job man! So maybe the C63 is detuned, or the E is under-rated. If it was the same, there's no way an E could get to 60 as fast as the C. Wow, i still can't get over that time. thats insane for a stock car. I always thought they should be able to beat an M5, what with an extra 80 lb. ft. and all

Right now, I'm only power breaking at around 1200 rpm in D/S, but will definately give the M-mode a couple of more shots. Every time I test M-mode, I hit the rev limiter and it ruins my runs. M mode requires a lot of practice to get the shifts just right

But if mastered, it's the fastest and best way to run the car

I have the same problem. The RPMs are just moving too fast and the lag through the system is just too long.

I think M Mode is a better tool for road racing.

Unlike accelerometers, this device is not affected by car's vibrations, calibrations, road conditions (ex: vibrations), incline or decline of the roads. It connects to 10 satellites and each satellite records your position and takes 10 readings per second.
That is awesome. So glad that someone did this. What did you find to be the variances, if any, between timeslips and what the device told you??

Assuming the same track prep, etc. Bad track on a good day isn't going to get you times that are any better than a good track on a bad day. MPH may change, but what God gives you, Mr. Track owner can take away.

No, it is the best way to accelerate fastest in a straight line.

On a road course I would be paddeling hard!!!

Correct me if i am wrong, but u are required to imput information when u setup the system to the specs of the car.

I really dont think that your going 0-60 that quickly.

Only accelerometer-based devices, such as, G-Tech Pro, G-Timer, etc.... you are required to enter the car's engine size, max rpm, etc... in order to calibrate that device. This RaceLogic does not measure speed using an accelerometer, rather it is a GPS-based device. The satellites mark your position when you are stopped and then mark it again when you reach 60 mph and then calculate.

I just wanted to show people how strong the 63 engine is in cold weather compared to hot weather. Last summer, I used the same device, same car, same driver, same street, same gas, etc...... and could NOT get faster than 4.3 seconds (that was only achieved once out of 6 attempts of 4.5 seconds). Now that the weather is much cooler, the car is consistently scoring 4.0, 4.1, and even 3.9 seconds multiple times in a row. And if I can find 93 octane, I seriously believe the car will do even better
