Also I don't mind paying more to make sure they prep the track right.
I'm sure others are also open to additional fees for a VHT prepped track. I hate wasting my time.

Could you find out a real price to having a properly prepped track versus just 100 extra?

OK, i will make a separate thread on this one. I need to know how many people are actually going. Jennifer @ sac raceway says the starting price of the rental for us is $3500 + expenses on sunday and $5000 + expenses on Sunday.

Adam, I don't know if I can make it yet? Lets plan it at least a couple of weeks in advance so many people can make it like last time.
Also, I don't want to make another trip up there if track prep is that bad
Why don't you try to rent Famoso, they are at least $1,000 cheaper and provide excellent track prep?

Anyone know the elevation of Famoso??
Gotta admit, the track prep thing, combined with Christmas season is making this a tough call. Sure is great to hang with fellow AMG brothas, but this is gonna be quite an undertaking....specially now that the family is demanding to come and be part of the fun.
Course weather here is always a factor in winter. Another storm predicted for this weekend. Keeping an eye on it guys.
I would be in for chipping in some extra cash if Jen (think that is Sacto lady no?) would at least do the basics on track prep for TNT???!! Noone is asking for NHRA Pomona Finals track prep, but a track scrub and VHT spray would be cake to do.
Frustrating.
Gotta admit, the track prep thing, combined with Christmas season is making this a tough call. Sure is great to hang with fellow AMG brothas, but this is gonna be quite an undertaking....specially now that the family is demanding to come and be part of the fun.

Just called and found out the BFG 265/40 18s are on national backorder and no eta. They just asked that I call back at the first of the year.
I also called MT (which I think are better anyways) and they are expecting to have this size out the first of the year as well.
I'll wait to get my drag radials before heading up to sac again.
Adam please send out the rims for powder coating.

The track prep at Famoso is top notch, as they actually do run official races there 
Sacramento track is good in terms of elevation and DA, but very terrible in terms of prep.......... it is the worst I've seen yet

MT has been saying that for along time,dont hold your breath...though I do hope it happens.

100%, I can not make it this weekend. Had a setback on the heads and will not be complete for about a week. Came down to a simple part that we think customs might have removed for some reason.
Ordering from Germany and will take at least 3-5 business for it to arrive.
