Hey Vadim,
Am i correct that this will be a quad turbo? Could you please share why you decided to go with quad instead of bigger TTs? The reason I ask is that since you have two cylinder banks to work with usually dual turbos are laggier compared to a single bigger turbo. To give you an example. In the supra world which is a straight 6cyl either in the stock 3.0L form or a stroked 3.4L form is laggier with twin smaller turbos vs. a single larger turbo.
This is very well accepted. For example, a pair of HKS2Be835 turbos that make total of 850whp on a supra hit full boost at 5500rpm, where as a single Precision 74mm turbo makes the same 850whp but hits full boost by 4500-4800rpm. And thats besides the fact that you have the weight of twice the plumbing, more heat from twice the # of turbos, and of course the baseline cost of 4 turbos vs. 2 turbos in the Mercs application.
I think the reason the Bugatti uses a quad system is that the engine is a W16 design so i think it has 4 cylinder banks, and plus the fact that they just want to sound cool by saying QUAD. Just like the "1001HP" claim. Not 999 or 1002, but 1001

I've seen pictures of the next generation SL63/65 AMGs rear diffuser looks like it will finally make an SL stable at high speeds. I've driven a CL65 and the thing was very floaty up top compared to the M5.
Since the introduction of the 63-series across the board, it's been noticeable that AMG have awoken to this deficiency.
It seems that AMG finally grasped that under car aerodynamics, while not cheap, are essential if their going to maintain their good name.

Vadim just called me as he left the dyno...
Car made good power increase with new intercoolers & intake... Its running out of steam which means turbos gotta be upgraded next.
I'll let Vadim post the dyno and info when he gets home...
