Some people just have no respect for their car.

Where in the world did this guy drive this car to get that dirty. No matter what when you neglect a car like that a detail will help but it will never restore the damage to the paint and leather fully. Good example why I never buy pre owned anything.

Wow, whoever did that should lose their privilege to ever own a car ever again! I can't even imagine letting that happen. I mean, the trash alone would be so gross after a while, wouldn't you just clean it up? Some people...

The before pictures of the engine bay nearly broke my heart.
The scary thing is that such abuse can be hidden and passed of to the next guy who buys it. Imagine being the 2nd owner and wondering 6 months later why your car smells like cat **** and smoke!...But it was in such good shape when I bought it...

That is sickening.......... Why trash a 100k+ car like that, why?
I am however impressed with the work that detailer did. He did a very good job, very impressive.....

Amazing, it also had 1 normal E55 rear wheel on it and the rest were the 19" chrome 65 look a likes.
That guy did a hell of a job and its more amazing that he did it outside. I never let my cars get like that. I have an amazing detailer here in Vegas. He's not cheap but his work is some of the best ive seen.
Every one of my cars, with the exception of my honda (daily driver) gets detailed once a week.

Disgusting to say the least. What a POS owner. I saw a detailer linked here by someone that charges $10,000 per car. Wonder what this detail job cost? The owner probably thinks he got ripped off.

it appears that he sprayed foam on the motor itself. I thought you aren't supposed to do that as it will disrupt the computers?

Dogs jumping around in expensive cars make me cringe! A neighbors dog actually tried to jump inside my GT3 one day, the little came almost met his maker right there mid-stride.
You would be amazed at how many nice cars are trashed like that when they come into the dealer.

That detailing job is amazing. Props to that guy, I couldn't believe he was actually able to get some of those-- no, MOST of those scratches out, amazing. You can always tell whose passionate about their work with the results, I think his speak for themselves.

to us, AMG cars are, well more than cars. but to many rich folks out there, it's just another car and they couldnt care less. drive the chit out of em, and trade in for a new one.

I have heard of $300, $400, even $500 for the good ones. Never heard of a $10k detail job.
If that were the case, why not just buy new wheels and have the whole car resprayed, instead of the detail. Same price, lol.

Great job bringing the car back to life. I can see your point, but some people just drive their cars in any weather condition. Sure the car is filthy but it was driven in the snow in winter (probably in freezing rain). The owner also carries his dog in the back seat (as noted by the paw prints and hair). The point is he cares enough to pay someone to detail his 55 after it's been "used" a little. That alone shows he does care about his car. He didn't leave it that way all winter. My cars look the same after we come back from a ski trip but they get washed as soon as I have time.

I feel sorry for the poor guy who gets that car next. You can wash the dirt off and spray some air freshener, but the next owner is still going to have issues....there will be cabin rattles from all the crap, pencils, pens, and pennies that were dropped in places the detailer couldn't get to, then the wax will eventually dull and start showing all the excessive scratches again, and then when it gets humid out the interior will still smell like wet dog and animal ****. And god help the new owner if he has allergies to either pets or cigarette smoke.
The owner is a giant shmuck. That car has been used up, and now its real condition is hidden under an exceptional detail job.

Sorry, I guess I DID miss the part of him detailing it because he wanted to sell it. Also missed the part of him smoking in it as well. If that's the case, the guy is a definite turd.
