The scary thing is that such abuse can be hidden and passed of to the next guy who buys it. Imagine being the 2nd owner and wondering 6 months later why your car smells like cat **** and smoke!...But it was in such good shape when I bought it...
Why trash a 100k+ car like that, why?
I am however impressed with the work that detailer did. He did a very good job, very impressive.....
That guy did a hell of a job and its more amazing that he did it outside. I never let my cars get like that. I have an amazing detailer here in Vegas. He's not cheap but his work is some of the best ive seen.
Every one of my cars, with the exception of my honda (daily driver) gets detailed once a week.
You would be amazed at how many nice cars are trashed like that when they come into the dealer.
Props to that guy, I couldn't believe he was actually able to get some of those-- no, MOST of those scratches out, amazing. You can always tell whose passionate about their work with the results, I think his speak for themselves.

I have heard of $300, $400, even $500 for the good ones. Never heard of a $10k detail job.
If that were the case, why not just buy new wheels and have the whole car resprayed, instead of the detail. Same price, lol.
I feel sorry for the poor guy who gets that car next. You can wash the dirt off and spray some air freshener, but the next owner is still going to have issues....there will be cabin rattles from all the crap, pencils, pens, and pennies that were dropped in places the detailer couldn't get to, then the wax will eventually dull and start showing all the excessive scratches again, and then when it gets humid out the interior will still smell like wet dog and animal ****. And god help the new owner if he has allergies to either pets or cigarette smoke.
The owner is a giant shmuck. That car has been used up, and now its real condition is hidden under an exceptional detail job.
If that's the case, the guy is a definite turd.
