Saw the new Audi A5 tonight....headlights were AMAZING!!
He actually had the running lights (guess what they call them) on with no headlights. They look like 15 little Xenons on each side. You could see it a mile away. Very very nice as it went by.
I know there are a bunch of Audi fans on our section so I thought I would share.

My brother test drove an S5 recently as he's thinking about leasing one - he has an '06 S6 that his wife is now driving as they have a 4-months old infant.
He really liked the car, very smooth and deceptively quick, but not in the manic AMG way. We both agree that the S5 is a great looking car inside and out after attending an Audi/Glashütte Original event at the Audi Forum in NYC a couple of months ago; and Audi's efforts with interior design and material is really paying dividends.
The R8 of course stole the show at the event... :-)
He's waiting for the E92 M3 to arrive before making a decision.

Just read the news on Google. This is not supposed to be released until March. Is there another model that has those special lights? It had stealer plates on it and just totally a new model looking Audi.

yes YES, that's what it was. A new S5.
It was white and had the little LEDs on.
WOW, I have not been a big Audi fan and that pass by really was life changing.
They actually come out with the twin turb in the future, I gotta take a look at er.

audi has or uses one of the manufacturers test facilities out here and i'm constantly seeing test cars...some of them recognizable, some not. all of them have the new led lighting systems which will be the next step beyond xenon/hid.

for a min, i said to myself the s5 would be a good replacement for the e55.. saw the price tag on audi website, not much at all.. but saw the hp... the whole mood went down

have seen a few S5's running around here. One has Euro plates front/rear. Damn hot car! At the rate of Audi's depreciation, those will be half the price in 2 years. Audi's depreciate faster than AMG's!
Audi needs to step up and put more horsepower in those cars to catch up to the AMG and M cars.
