Chrome wheel exchange on Alabaster white, any opinions?
I have a bone stock white 05' E55... Was throwing around the idea of doing the chrome wheel exchange. But Im concerned about chipping,peeling,etc.. Anyone have experience with these.. Performance products does them.. About $800 + shipping, and you mail them your wheels back, for the credit.
Was thinking about chrome wheels and 35% tint all the way around..

White/Chrome/Tint = Lights-Out!
Do it!
Lots of guys on this forum know this but the white ones are usually some of the fastest, too (2006 White - 12.16 @ 114 - Essentially Stock/Toyo Tires and K&N)!

Here is a pretty bad picture of the rear end of the car and the wheel.

chrome is the wrong choice for a White/Silver car, you always go color matched or silver, NEVER CHROME!!
looks too gaudy, chrome goes better on black and other colors.
go with something else, save the money hommie, mine are the stock 18's and i love em, but it would look better on a diff car.

Taximan: My white E46 M3 with chrome wheels looked killer! I see the other opinions here but if you like this setup do it! I think white with chrome looks great!

clearly, it is a matter of subjective/personal taste, but since that is what you are asking for, I will throw mine in: not a big fan of the chrome. A tad too "look at me'ish" when the car itself does all the talking w/o adding additional glare.

thanks for the opinions guys... I know a guy who has an Alabaster E500, with the factory (500 style) chromed wheels, and 35% tint.. The car looks OUTSTANDING..
However, an E55 already has a lot more "flash" than a 500.. Im wondering if the chrome would over do-it.. Not looking for the "bling bling" look, if you know what I mean...
I'll hold off for now.. thanks for the opinions..
