E63 Rear Tire Replacement, Dont know what to do

Nobody has the Conti Sport 2 in stock all local tire suppliers and my dealer are out, Tire Rack is out, personally I hate them but the 2 fronts are new and were replaced by the dealer under warranty.

Option is should I put the Conti Sport 3 on the car? I am not keeping it much longer and didnt want to go crazy on a set of PS2's right now because of the fact I am not keeping the car.

It feels awkward to have mismatched tires front and rear and I dont know what to do.

My rears are BALD, and my horrible MSW/DUnlop Winter package got shipped back to the Tire Rack for a refund since the wheels didnt fit the car and the tires gave excessive roadforce readings making the car feel like a Vintage Ferrari with Borrani wire wheels out of round.

Check with Luke@Tire Rack you can get Kumhos all around for the same cost of 2X PS2s. I have Kumhos, the rears have the extra "Mercedes rating", and they are a great value for me because I change rubber every 6-8K miles.

I think you are worrying to much about missmatched tires.

I do worry because I dont want the dealer any anyone involved to say "Hey the customer has the wrong tires front and rear and this is why his car shakes and vibrates etc" I dont want to open up any cans of worms over this.

the Kumhos may be a good option for cost, heck I would even put snows on the cars OEm wheels but Tire Rack has Zero in stock.

Car is going to the dealer tonight again I will check their stock once more but they rape you on price and charge 1.8 hours to mount two tires which is like $235.

If I were you, I'd buy the CSC3s. It's no problem mixing tires on different axles...just need to match tires on the same axle.

On top of that, the CSC3s are better than the CSC2s. A knowledgeable buyer should prefer the CSC3s. I would.

I was told that the CS2 was discontinued and sold out which is fine as I am not a Conti fan.

The Toyo T1R is a very solid option for the OEM size or even a bump to a 275 in the rear.

And about $700 delievered to your doorstep. Got them in April, run it hard, lots of tread left (10K miles) and oh, BTW, best of a 1.799 60' (lots of 1.8's, too).

Would buy again and just buy all 4 (275's in back).

I bought an M car that someone had put Kuhmos on and a burned rubber as often as possible so I could replace them with something else with more lateral grip.

They were the 712 and while they were inexpensive and decent tires, they were WAY behind the top tier tires in terms of grip so there is certainly a trade off.

I need some extra rear wheels to put some nice hard tires on to have some fun.
