looking at this thread make me wondering if there are shops we can send our units out to that will take the how center section and install the lsd and all new bearings while correctly shimming everything.

you should be able to take it out & to just about any transmission shop. The rear is also used in certain SRT dodge cars so it's not like it's something super exotic that no one knows how to do.
Thanks again for the wonderful write-up. I'm following your steps but currently stuck after taking apart the left side of suspension. The axle doesn't have a problem sliding out of the differential itself but how do you get it out of the wheel bearing and suspension side of things?
I hammered on it thinking it's simply spline stuck but may have overdone it and now the axle bolt doesn't even go on, haha.
I have a 2003 with the early 215 housing. Cheers, mate!

Will try the puller method.
EDIT: Worked with the three prong puller but was quite sketch, the amount of force that required was frightening. Thanks again, team.

n00b question here: I ordered a front wheel bearing from FCP Euro since I suspect a bent wheel may have led to a prematurely worn wheel bearing. Would the same approach apply to the front wheel bearing?
Axle MOD
Did you have to do anything to the axles? I just got something that the axles have to be modified to hold them in the differential. With the factory rearend there were c-clips holding them in, but with the Quaife there are no c-clips.
