WHat do I have to do?

To make my car sound like this CLS55???

If I replace the stock mufflers with Magnaflow ones, do you think this will do the trick?

That sounds fantastic.

Here is my guess on what they have done...minimal baffles in the mufflers and a fully separated left and right exhaust bank with no X or H pipe. I say this because the exhaust note is not very smooth which is what removing any left to right bank crossover would do.

Two of the best sounding cars that I have had (Lotus V8 and CTS-V) and flat crank V8 engines with isolated left and right bank exhausts. Not quite, just outrageous sounding!

Minimal bafflers eh? So if I cut open my muffler and gut it out, I will have almost the same sound, considering I already have an X-Pipe and no secondary cats?

Sounds like Vic's old E55... to me it's a bit much for all the time, but it's a nice sound.

I really do not want to spend $3,000 on an Eisenmann muffler... For that money I'll get a VRP Pulley + Tune (45 hp gain or something like that)...

If my car had minimal baffles "wink" wink" plus primary cat deletion my car would sound just as good...wait a minute my car does sound just as good. Follow the wink wink and you to can start getting that sound...plus I think my Kleeman headers might have helped, too.

I'll try to post a sound bite of exhaust note this week...

I can't wait for the VRP cams/heads to get installed...the Beast will scream even more !

Did you remove the crossover pipe to separate the left and right exhaust banks?

I could be wrong but the car in that link sounds like it doesn't have an X or H pipe.

I look forward to hearing your sound clip!

I'll be that guy...

That car sounds terrible. It should have a clean refined sound, not sound like a V6 Camaro.
