I am looking at getting into an 2003 E55 with 12,000 miles. Perfect condition and passed inspection at MB. No warranty. Totally stock. Dealer wants $48,000, seems a bit high. Just looking for others thoughts.

its ok.. i paid 60 out the door for a 03 with 35k mileage without doing researches on it first

It seems a bit high to me. I think for not much more you could get into a nicely optioned '05 that may even have a bit of warranty remaining.

How about my silver '06' with 22,000 miles. CPO car with 2 yrs. factory warranty remaining for $55K?

Has most options but does NOT have keyless go, parktronic, or pano roof.

Speedpeddler- Why are you selling? Any issues with car, blemishes, etc?

The car is great. No issues, scratches, dings or dents and new PS2's on the front and almost new Conti's on the rear.

Long story short on why I'm selling: I picked up an SUV as an additional vehicle for my wife to haul her dogs to the dog shows. So, we now have four daily cars, (including the E), for two drivers. The E is the only one with a payment, I don't need four doors anymore, and I want a V12 TT.

Just as a point of reference I bought my 2003 E55 with 12K miles CPO'd from the dealer in 11/06 for $52...The extended warrenty cost me about $3800 on top of that.

The car is actually in Miami. Really am think of picking up an '05 or '06 with low miles and remaining factory warranty. Having to dump $4000 in on top of the asking price puts me into the $50K park, and I think a few years newer doesn't hurt.
