That's pretty high miles for an 05 relative to other 55's out there. What does the blue book value say it is worth (kbb.com)?

It's my car's twin (w/ fewer options but a lot more miles
).Given the miles but rarity of designo and CPO, I'd say start at $50K. I wouldn't pay more than $52K as I know it would be quite tough to sell high-mileage E55 even w/ CPO.

Well, my car only got 20K right now. Compared to regular cars, its mileage is average. But for an E55, which people get scared running out of warranty, it does seem high. Looking at various ads, I think most '05 is averaged around 25-30K miles.
Yeah, you could always start low... $50K out the door seems a bit too steep
but you'll never know how desparate the dealer is. You may just get lucky.

What options does your car have? From what I see, the car that OP linked only missed sirius, keyless go and distronic, hence, quite loaded (including the rare designo) plus it's CPO.
I bought the car in Dec of 07. It is flint gray with keyless go. No pano. Navi, birdseye maple, no parktronic. So I think my car maybe just basic. But still, I think with a used car, none of that matters. The used car dealership didn't even know how to use the car when I asked them about the dynamic seats and navi. And they didn't even know the car is a CPO car. I have all the original paper work from the previous owner that has the warranty till like Oct of 09! So I think he can work the price of that car way down. Did i mention that the jaguar dealership that i bought the car was asking 56,991! Anything is possible with a USED car. You don't know how much they suckered some guy into trading it in for.

Agree... dealers are usually clueless and the price you get varies on case by case basis. It's all pure luck...
BTW, if your CPO warranty is still valid, consider yourself lucky. CPO warranty is supposedly voided if you buy from non-MB dealer.

A touch high for a lightly optioned car and the miles are well, a lot. Doesn't appear to be a CPO car. They will have trouble selling for more than $50,000. For the money try to get a low mileage '06 with a better warranty for about the same money. That car has been driven around the block a few too many times. Good luck with your search, let us see what you get: PICS
I just bought an 06 with 24K miles on it for 52. CPO car. Highly optioned. Pano, chrome wheels, etc.
Just look around for a while. You can find a good example with less miles and newer for that price no problem. Just don't get impatient.

I'm also looking into getting rid of my 06 G35 Cope, which is currently on lease. I may be upside down on that within 2-3K so I think I cold get that washed away with 50K offer out the door, even deal, no?

If you like the car, why not. $50K is already good deal, IMO (I think I need to learn from some members here on how to get '06 24K, CPO, loaded for $52K
). I bought the same car w/ few more options & 16K miles but not CPO close to a year ago for $57K.
The car you're looking at is CPO.... so you shouldn't get hit by the mileage. PLUS.... you'll love designo espresso.... that's the best and most unique color combo. I know it may not help the resale value... but at least it makes my E55 super unique and less boring

My main thing is to avoid any more financial hiccups. What I mean is that I wan tot get rid of my lease of the 06 G35 Coupe by buying this. I know I may be upside down by 2-3K so tacking that on to the price of the E55, I think 50K out of the door is very manageable, no?

1/4 mile at a time, huh?
