I'd be interested to see the outcome as a member here who has the same model Audi wants to do a few pulls. He however claims he is 100% stock

Hola good buddy. I've personally raced one of these buggers and they are very quick off the line, but once speeds get past 60 they run out of breath. For an E55 they should be quick work, chipped or not you still have gobs more power.Originally Posted by oldgixxer

It would be an interesting run. Does he have any other mods besides just a chip?
E55 stock: 493hp/516tq

Just make sure you don't get her too hot before the race. No hammering it on the way to the matchup. If possible, show up early at a parking lot close by and open hood.
Kryptonite to our cars is heat. Lot of guys do all these romps leading up to a race then starting complaining of "loss of power" and "fell off at top end".
Keep her cool and she'll deliver the W!!!
Never hurts to do a "sneaky ECU reset" as well. Really works and resets tranny shift patterns back to more aggressive.
Good luck.

RS6 is a very heavy car.. I completely smoked one when I had just headers on the car and he was chipped.
Off the line he will get a good jump because of the AWD, but as soon as you get traction its game over.. Oh.. On the highway, its even worse.. The 55 will pull hard.

►Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
►Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
►Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.
(some say that 2 min wait is not needed. )

Totally LOL on this! Especially the "show up early at a parking lot close by and open the hood". Sounds like move out of my book and I was the only one who did stuff like this!
