oh, retail price of the renntech steering wheel is $1995.00. I dont think many of us here will pay over retail pricing.

This is direct from Renntech. That guy never responded to me.....I'm looking into getting these made for cheaper though. I would never buy something and try to sell it for over 100% profit, I know better than that.

I have one in all leather as I personally do not like wood or carbon on the wheel.
The Renntech wheels are made by MP Design and are the same part. They are offered in all leather, wood, and black or silver CF. Renntech marks them up so the price of the one in the Renntech box is higher.
These wheels feel great and are a MASSIVE upgrade over the vinyl POS that comes in the car. Installation is simple and fairly quick. The only thing is that the shift buttons from your old wheel are reused so the old wheel is pretty much a boat anchor afterwards.

The one he wanted to sell you for $2,500 is being sold directly from RENNtech Mercedes via their ebay store for $1,995. They're having a closeout and are selling a bunch of them for fairly cheap on there.

B: That still doesn't explain why you are asking $600 over what RennTech themselves are charging for the exact same wheel if people just bought it directly from them...
You're also like $1000+ over what you can get the exact same wheel for at various other places on the internet...
Surely you understand that there is some risk involved from buying such an expensive item sight-unseen from a newbie on a message board, especially when you can get the same damn thing for $600 less right from RennTech... So, logic dictates that you should be selling your wheel at a significant discount to compensate for this risk, not marking it up over what the manufacturer charges...
And I still think this forum is turning into a flea market lately...
