This sucka is already under way, we will be announcing a date shortly. We are doing our best to get sponsors to offset some of our costs, we will update shortly with a date then move forward from there, this will be a reocurring annual event

We drove down to MIR posi deep from NYC.

Jay and Ahmad did an excellent job with the planning even though the restaurant Jay took us to the first night chopped up my wallet I still had a great experience.!

Anyway,the event at MIR was first class!

P.S. By the way guys dont forget the AMG Challenge in Pocono P.A. in August I heard.

Blackbenzz, I'd prefer ATCO since most of the times from there seem to be a little faster than MIR

Here are some "approximate" DA calculations I looked up....

November 15th, 2007
==============
MIR = +160 ft @ 9 am and -335 ft @ 5 pm
ATCO = +495 ft @ 9 am and -550 ft @ 5 pm

November 30th, 2007
==============
MIR = -1600 ft @ 9 am and -1500 ft @ 5 pm
ATCO = -2000 ft @ 9 am and -1900 ft @ 5 pm

December 12th, 2007
==============
MIR = +500 ft @ 9 am and -400 ft @ 5 pm
ATCO = -90 ft @ 9 am and -1000 ft @ 5 pm

^^Josh and all of his math has gone to your head bro^^

"If you build it they will come" As i stated earlier in this post Blackbenzz/Ahmad and I will be hosting an event at MIR in November this year. This will be a two-lane private track event with no-tech. We are doing our best to get a weekend as opposed to a weekday to accommodate everyones schedule. I would like this top be an annual event and we are working hard to get sponsors. As soon as we have a firm date, which will be shortly, we will announce it and make a new thread.

Question for all you guys near ATCO... when would be a good time to set up a track rental there? From the looks of things it will be twice the price though.

MBforever- Is there a way you could add temps to that list? DA can be very good but the temp is so low that you cant get any traction. Gotta find a perfect balance.

I think MIR is better regardless because at Atco I was almost certain that they would allow only a certain amt of folks(15 or 20) at almost 200.00 a pop.

Mo,the tables are great for a general outlook but I,as well as anybody that lives in the Northeast will attest is that the weather is very unpredictable from November thru April.

The weekend of November 29th is no good for me as it's my daughters B-Day

ATCO would be $200/car and would not be able to accomodate the number of cars we would be expecting. I didnt even bother asking about getting a weekend rental. They are booked from now until June!

I reserved Nov. 15th at MIR. There are a few things that need to be worked out but this is tentatively the date. It is a saturday so it should be more convenient for everybody. There will be more updates from me or Jason shortly.

Hows the wife today?

Aside for slightly better DA at ATCO is MIR a better facility? How close are the two tracks, COULD we do a Saturday at MIR and a sunday at Atco LOL...

I mean we will be traveling thousands of miles, would be cool to do the East Coast tour. Whatever you guys can do , I appreciate .

I know, but I figured to give you guys an idea to help the comparison between the two tracks and maybe help choose a date. I also checked the results for those same dates but for years 2007, 2006, and 2005 (ATCO only because I ran out of time) and the results were surprisingly close but like you said, the weather is very hard to predict. Here in California, whenever they tell us 100% chance of rain (meaning DEFINITE rain), it does not rain but when they tell us there is 10 to 20% chance, then we know for sure it'll rain. They're supposed to have the most complex and most advanced computerized weather models yet they seem to prefer guessing

MIR is cool w me,I can drive to Atco for a test&tune anytime I desire as it's relatively close.
Juicee,the wife is fine&asked when she's gonna meet her husbands "AMG Homo Lover" from Cali

Atco is close to 3-4hrs from MIR if my memory is still good.

Josh&Mo;depending on when/where you guys plan on having the cars dropped we could possibly hit Atco for a wed/fri nite test&tune

I just thought I would raise this one from the dead, there's not been much said about this for a couple months now. Are we still thinking about Nov 15th at MIR? As I mentioned before I am supposed to be sending my car back to Evosport for round 2 of mods, but I gues I can wait a couple weeks if this is going to happen. Count me in.
