The Best of Mercedes & AMG
if i bought that and knew it had the wrong badges, while I would want to get the incorrect badge off. I dont think it would be priority on my things to do more of one of those things, ill get around to it someday...
cause if you think about it, why would he badge this e230? now someone badging their car AMG when its not, well theres no denying someone is posing somewhere. But this I think could have been a mistake? and maybe there are more out there that we mistakingly think as posers...definately not talking about that lil hot piece of automotive work with AMG on the door panels hahaha
But regardless what the case may be, posers will be posers. Thats what they do. Whether they drive a C230 with an E230 badge or drive an E350 with an E55 badge, I see it as more of a compliment than an insult...

Just after I bought my C32 Secretary of State(illinois) made mistake while transfering license plates from my old car. My Registration called for Lexus LX470. Police gave me a ticket for nt having City Sticker ( city tax for using their roads). He did not notice that he is looking at Mercedes w/ plates belonging to Lexus. He must've run plates since car was parked for couple of days and ticket had all my info (name, address, etc.)
I got ticket reversed afterwards.
Small percentile would notice difference.
As long as VIN, Plates are correct nobody will give it second look, besides Insurance Company, They will try anything to deny claim.
Regards
Jack
