Rossion Q1/The New US Noble Supercar
sorry, a bit-off topic for our board, but thought maybe some would find of interest. US race engineers bought rights to UK's Noble and will now be launching the Q1 sometime in 2008. impressive numbers for a $100k+ supercar. any, enjoy.

"Rossion Q1 chassis USA are sold without engine and transaxle. Similar USA engine specs are available from independent engine builders"

Nah, guys. Factory Five GTM is the way to go:That's with a 500 horsepower LS7 crate engine. If someone wanted to go to town with a modified LSx engine, 800 to 1,000 horsepower is relatively easy to reach.
Cost is $50,000 - $75,000 plus labor or $100,000 to $125,000 turnkey, depending on engine, tranny, and interior options.

the fully loaded price seems ~$95k. i thought i would give it some cushion given the mod bug that afflicts our members. (lol)
have to love the commentary as to the metaphor of their emblem/badge:
"About The Shield
Flawless Balance. Effortless Precision. Uncompromising Performance. Rossion proudly incorporated the Peregrine Falcon as their emblem to exhibit the finest form of speed. Widely known as the fastest creature on the planet with flight speeds closing on 200 mph, the Peregrine Falcon also has the ability to exert phenomenal control in the midst of dauntingly fast dives to capture prey. This beautiful predatory raptor utilizes its light bodyweight while pushing its wings into a unique aerodynamic shape to cut a literal razor’s edge through the sky, nimbly banking and rolling through the air at speeds no other creature can attempt..."

hey rocket,
agree. love the fact that the company's heritage is from Noble. they have just refined and made more powerful. for cars in the ~$100-180K range, what choices are there that are supercar like (or are supercar status)? ford gt, zr1 (forthcoming)-are there any others? the ascari (which would be my choice for big supercar money & exclusivity) and similar cars, are $250-500k. think this rossion could really be something special and it's british/american vs the dominance of german/italian-respect and admire all the GER/ITAL cars, but nice to have a new potential contender in the ring. from the looks and data, the rossion q1 is gorgeous/powerful/affordable and exclusive. if you read news, the car is ready for production/delivery this year. if you search youtube, they have a couple of spy vids of the q1 testing in the mountains. great stuff.
