AMG Get-Together - Sat April 12 @ Cars and Coffee Event in Irvine, CA
Hi Everyone,
Requesting all owners of MBZ AMGs to gather this Saturday April 12 2008 at the Cars and Coffee event to show off your prize uber-machines and why AMGs are so awesome!
For those unfamiliar with Cars and Coffee, every Saturday morning from 6:30AM to 9:30AM, you'll find some of the finest automobiles and proud owners from throughout the SoCal area gathering together to kick tires, have coffee, and show off their prides of joy.
The location is at the Ford - Premier Automotive Group - Mazda Campus located at 7905 Gateway Blvd, Irvine, California.

I've been going down there for the last year or so and have never seen the police hand out tickets there. The weekly meet is well-organized, typically has 100 cars to 200 cars, and usually goes down without any issues (except for the Cobra driver who spun his wheels leaving an event, lost control, and ended up damaging his car severely against the unfriendly street curbs.

The OP SHOULD have contacted Cars and Coffee as IF this a AMG/Mercedes margue meet they WILL let all of the cars park in the Special front parking lot
as its NOT listed on the C and C event for the date 04/12/2008
Without the special lot all the cars will be spread out..unless EVERYONE rolls in at the same time

This is not an "official" marque meet but rather a grass-roots attempt to get all AMG/SLR owners to show up on the same day and actually have a strong presence for a change. It's discouraging to always see rows of Porsches, BMWs, etc ... and only a few uber-machines.
