Finally!! That's a great review. Most of the other mags i've read with the same vehicle comparison says that the Audi wins and on this mag the E55 wins!

Which mags are these? I've never seen the Audi win yet.

Thus far: (E55 vs M5 vs RS6 vs S-type R)

AutoCar - E55 1st place : Only edging the M5 but a win is a win, and the M5 only use to edge out the old E55.

Top Gear - E55 1st place : Article picked the E55. Comment from Clarkson about the RS6 was his own personal pick, but he admitted he had not driven the E55 yet.

Automobile - E55 2nd place : The mag stated the E55 struggled to secure second place in front of the Audi. But it placed in front of the RS6 none the less.

I think the other magazine that rated the E55 2nd was CAR. It was essentially the same article as Automobile however.

If it's the same article by Georg Kacher, then it doesn't count again. Interesting, this same article and pictures was also featured in a Japanese car mag called GenroQ. It's the most unflattering review of the lot, but it seems to get the most circulation.

Still doesn't make the 100mph barrier in under 10, meaning it cannot be classified as a supercar. But who'd thought of driving an MB supercar?

Just slap on a Kleemann compressor if you're not satiated.
