What was the problem, they didn't work? Or they wouldn't last?

Quote: I have tried them all and let me tell you they suck!!!!

I even did reistors and they still blow or start flashing rapidly.

Don't get me wrong they look great but the will only last like 1 month and if you have no problem with that then cool
I should have read this 1st... I will keep everyone updated. I saved the stock bulbs to replace if they blow.

Has anyone had success with LED's???

I even installed those in the overhead lights and they just started to flicker away just like all the rest of them. They will last about 1 month and then poof. You will either get a constant flicker which is more likely than for them to just blow.

I just got my white plate bulbs from hoen-usa.com. they're not as birght or white as led's but whiter than stock and no error light nor flicker. They'll last longer than led's.

Quote: Yes, i did get errors and both did not light up at first. As the description said:

"LED bulbs have Positive and Negative poles. Only when their polarity is connected correctly, it will light up. If it does not light up, it does not mean the bulbs are defective, simply reverse it 180 degree and push in again."

I flipped the bulb on one side and tried again. Bamn! it worked with no error. I did the other side and they both lit up. Much brighter at night with no error.

Like some other members said, they burn out quick. I should take their word for it but we'll see over time how they hold up. If/when they burn out, i will update this thread.
did you get bulbs for the footwells also?

How can I remove the overhead bulbs? It seems impossible to get under the cover without breaking it. Is it possible to change the overhead ambient lighting? The light orange is pretty repulsive.

I did but they light up very dim and weak. Door courtesy light works perfect. Anyone have anything that will work with footwells?

Same here. they flicker in the footwells. Work perfect in the doors though. License LED still work fine....

My license LEDs have worked for over two years,
If your car is blowing LEDs you may have an electrical problem the two most common causes of led failures are voltage spikes and AC voltage,
Voltage spikes are caused by a weak battery or defective voltage regulator. The AC voltages are bad diodes in the alternator. Both conditions can present no problems to other electrical systems in the car, and in fact the car can operate just fine.

I bridged a 330R quarter watt resistor across each of the footwell LED's with no worries.

Seems to trick the internal diagnostics computer into believing there is still a load across the bulb.

Used blue BTW and it looks cool.
