POLL: Which AMG would you get?
Ok, so a real good friend just texted me the following question:
If you had to choose between the following, which would you get?
S65 - 28K miles $75,000
CLS55 - 9K miles - $67,000
C63 - new - $65,000
I don't know the model years for the S and the CLS so assume a 2006 model year for that particular car. He lives in inner city Baltimore and will not mod the car. He had a 2004 E55 but sold it due to little gremlins but he loved it when he had it.
I'm so tempted to say the C63 but that S65 is so tempting too. Anyway, what would you choose?

2007 S550 (S65 Package)
i voted for the cls55. if hes not looking for TOO much power the 55 is a great choice and i just love the cls body. the S is nice and the c63 is hot but i believe a CLS55 would be a great car to drive. just my 2 cents of course
oh and if you had the CL550, Cl63, or Cl65 i would go with anyone of those. the CL is immaculate. it was a huge jump since the older model i think.

Car Whore
Since he wont be modifying, im thinking between C63 and S65... and I will vote for ..... C63.
Will be more fun, will have the latest body styling, and all the newest features.
C63 FTW

06 e55 wagon
If he's not going to mod it, my vote is for the C63. It really depends on what he's looking for though. The S65 is just an insane amount of power and luxury and CLS55 is a beautiful car (probably my favorite looks-wise) with the awesome torque and drivability of the 55K motor. The C63 is smaller and much more nimble and for me would be significantly more fun to drive. But it's not as 'pimp' as the S65 or even CLS55, so it's a matter of priorities ...

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
Did any of you think about the massive depreciation hit someone is going to take on the C63? I know it's fast, but 65K or so for an entry level C Class sedan is quite high....
Of the choices, I would say S65.....

CLS55, love that body, performance, and styling. However, there are CLS55's going for less than that price with less that 20K miles on them. BUT I don't know what options are on that CLS in particular.

C63S coupe, X5M
S65: Speed, class and comfort for 5 but will handle like a pig
CLS55: Speed and class and handles good for it's size but not exactly nimble
C63: Performance, handle way better then the above while being a lot more dynamic (engine) while lacking the class the other 2 have
If it was me and it was my only car I would roll the CLS55.

He went with a black C63. Dealer told him it was the first one delivered in Maryland. He also says it feels so much faster than his E55 and the exhaust note is worth the 65K by itself.
