good price?

hey guys. im in the market for an e55. i found one near by thru a private dealer. not an mb dealer. its a 05 with 40k black/black. option which i can tell from the picture is it has distronic and parktronic, nav, keyless go. heated/cooled seats. i have not check it out in person yet. i have finals this week and i will check it out in person once i am done with finals. the list price is 45k i think i can maybe get it down to 42-43k. could someone tell me if this is a good deal considering what i gave you so far. like i said i havent seen this car in person and will on fri so i can give you an update then with paint and other options. thanks guy.

Should be able to get out with 39-40K...then spend the money you save on an extended warranty to 100K miles.

in term on of extended warranty. i know i have to get one, but like i said this is from a private dealership and not an MB dealer. is it still reliable to get it thru this dealership? and is it possible to get the extended warranty from MB? (i dont think so, but what do i know). if i could how do i go about doing so? thanks

Generally you can get the extended via MB until the car reaches 48K miles. Some dealerships sell their own NON-MB extended warranty.

Basically, it is a good idea to talk with the dealership and find out which extended warranties they will take as they will not take all of them. A lot of dealers will make the customer fork out the money for the repairs and make the customer get re-imbursed from the extended warranty company.
