180*F PTE modded t-stat assy

I hand build these Thermostats in my small machine shop . Even though they are called 160* They actually bring the engine temp from 210*F / 100*C too about 180* F . The 160* one would set a CEL on cold nights. You may want to pick up the one RocketW19 offered. He brought a new one at the old price. Returned E-mail sent Cheers ___PTEngineering

Separated lines and modded thermostats don't work well together?

PTE modded T-Stat assy

The 1st 12 I made , did run close to 71*C , But that was 2 years ago, all current assys (Which you have) are up around 85*C , and have a tighter spec, air bleed bypass hole. For quicker warm up.. I cann't say anything on the forums about the latest stats , because the monitors think I'm advertising and they shut me off. I did responded back about 8 months ago , on some err code 128s? I got all most all of the 1ST 12 change ,out to the type you currently have ,at no charge. So as you can really see I cann't go on the forums and say I have a new 85*c modded, assy. I'm kinda stuck / labeled with the 160*f , even though it now is at 180*F - 190*F range.Instead of the 200-210 range = 100*C, Which still helps bring down the heat on a pullied blower motor . The newer types work well , where the cooling systems are separated ,Hope this helps & I willn't get my hands slapped & be put on probation Thanks ___PTEngineering

hey PTE I had the thermostat installed today and the engine temp is defently lower. It stays just over 80c its used to get up 100. Also the power feels alot more consistant.
