Motor Mount, Transmission Mount - $1500?
I have to replace the motor mounts and transmission mount. The local dealership quoted $1500. Is that too much? Seem like a lot because people on this forum have replace them themselves. The parts are not too expensive. Thanks!

i got quoted $750 from a local mercedes shop.

you went with AA ECU?

any dynos?

about the motor mounts.

Buy the parts and shop around for the labor time.

Its only motor mounts.... any real mechanic should be able to handle it.

+1...MB shop charges are a joke...if it's out of warranty go with a reputable independent...

PS...my bad...I just reread your OP and saw that you probably priced them out. I guess labor will be what you have to shop for...MB will be the costlier option. Based on the cost of the parts $750 sounds about right...

Unless you are going on a 1000mile road-trip, then you can time it out to get the loaner car....hehehehe

Thats normally how I get some of my cost back...
