Renntech Stage 5? WTF!!!!
Thanks to VRP is all I could say. I think Jackpro needs to call Kevin(T/A)
Heat is always our arch enemy though, if Vegas is an oven that day, the ole Kompressor won't have a chance.
Gotta work on an Ntercooler spray system for these hot Western tracks.

For reference, a CL65 with Kleeman ECU and TCU ran 11.8xx a while back, and the guy knows how to drive (his Supra ran 9's around the same time).
But now I'm having second thoughts. Can someone please provide me with some reassurance?
Looks accurate!!

I was on the way down to drag with Rudy last year. Had a belt problem and called him. He told me to go ahead and turn around anyway. DA at that moment............5700ft. YUP. I am telling you, LVMS can be Satans lil helper for a Kompressed motor that is heat prone like ours.
Course the guy sucked at launch granted, but I just wanna make sure that we don't start comparing dream tracks like Higgins track, ETown and Atco and Moroso on a good night, to any of our local tracks. Biiiiiigggggg difference.
To the noobs, these 55 cars are just like German women. Beautiful, strong and sexy, but can be the most finicky little frauleins on the planet if you try to make them do what they don't wanna do. Hard to run killer times when it's warmer or at higher elevation track.
OK, everything that's been said about the LVMS is true. It is very difficult to get a good time. My best time so far is an 11.98, and yes, I do have a Renntech Stage 5. Jim is also right. The best E55 time here in town was turned in by Josh at 11.7.
I would love to run at sea level but haven't had the chance to take my car to Bakersfield to run. Trust me, I'm not happy with my times, however, I am pleased that I beat just about every car I race at the track so I know it's not the car. I also routinely beat Kevin. He's a good friend and had just jetted up his car to a 150 shot. For those of you who aren't familiar with the F-body...a 150 shot F-Body in LV is capable of very low 11's at our track.
I was also struggling with traction. My stock Conti's were about bald as evidenced by my 2.2 60' times. My best at this track are 1.7-very respectable.
So, one of these days I'll be able to run at a track with a DA lower than 5,000 ft with a set of DR's and when that happens I fully anticipate times on the low 11's. Until that day, I'll just have to keep taking the heat.
I've got broad shoulders.

My car would do 12.70-12.90 in that altitude, so I would not be so quick to say bad showing. I saw your video of last years runs and they were similar. 12.1 @115-116? Altitude KILLS MAN , it KILLS, I have been screaming this for a while now. You and mr Pro bring yer cars to Famoso and you will be 11.60's , just make certain iot is Nov, DEC, Jan, FEb or March. A cool Famoso dusk is not Atco but it is getting CLOSE. My apologies to you and please I hope you do not take offense to my "asleep " comments but R/T lost those heads up runs nothing else. Well the stock conti's did not help. Props to the kid for jumping in the AMG and even more props to DAD for participating.
