weird engine start
ok... ever since pulley install or ECU tune or both, once every often the car doesn't start like b4...
most times, as soon as i turn the key to start the car, it seems like the whole power is shutting off or something for a split second and then starts the car..
this morning, it sounded like my battery is dead or something...
any ideas???

Go to a Auto Zone and have them check the charging system
1 Alternator output in VOLTS and AMPS
2 Load test BOTH Batteries
a draw/drain will cause a dead battery...this sounds like a weak battery
as if the car had a DEAD battery ..the car will not start
If you want to trace a draw / drain on the battery..that will require a lot more time to trace each circuit for a draw/drain

Can you expand on the euro trunk mod? I'm loving the thinner and wider cutout so to speak. Are you able to fit the standard US plate inside without mounting it in an angle like I have seen on a few euro spec bmw 6 series. What part is replaced? I can't tell by the pics. I would expect this mod can be done on a wagon.

if u just put US plate, then u need to put on those angled bracket to fit...
that's y i put euro plate on first and then US plate over it using zip ties...
euro trunklid insert is the entire bottom piece... u can get it from MBeznNL...

alright, here's dyno mode results from this morning...
before car started this morning - 12.3V
after the car started - 14.2V
sounds normal...

McLaren shop just released driving shoes today...

just ordered low boot shoes today...
no need to buy porsche design or ferrari labeled driving shoes!
