Computerized perfect cut tint installed in Socal
These guys signaturetint in Costa Mesa rock, they cut the film via computer so that piece for the "shark fin" area of the rear corner window of the rear doors is pre cut perfect and they are able to get it back there and pushed on the glass for the sweet full black look. I got 5& rear and 20% front, I also had the visor strip installed too, top notch work. I just had mine done there a few weeks ago because I had to replace the film from the previous owner. They do alot of high end cars, the pic in my sig is my old tint by the way.
Socal peeps ask for Dave or Kerry and tell them Bryan with the black E55 sent ya !!

Had mine done by them a few weeks back.
Awesome shop and really good people.
I went with metalic film all around and ceramic on the windshield.
Looks great.

I think a basic tint is around $225.
They put felt guides in my door panels, cause apparently MB doesn't use the felt lined rubber that every other manufacturer in the world does for their doors. $20 per door.
The ceramic on the windshield was around $150.
In my opinion well worth the few extra bucks for a quality job, in a clean shop, from people who know their ****. Actually, the prices are in line with most shops and a little cheaper than other 'high end' shops.

I bought my car with tint and the interior rubber piece looks like it got trimmed off instead of getting felt added. The rubber does not rub the window (and tint) as the window gets opened/closed but this raises 2 issues:
1. I don't like that there is nothing to stop something small from falling into that crevice.
2. I think it adds wind noise to the interior.
I did get the dealer to agree to replace the rubber but they claim no felt is needed. I just wanted another observation.

So is this a must with the W211 with tint? Do they replace the OEM rubber with this piece or is it an add on?

For $80, I figured I'd rather not risk my new ceramic film.
They basically just glue a soft felt strip on the inside of the rubber piece.
